The people having trouble, once you get one API key, log out, log the next account in on the webpage and go to the link again. Do that for each account and you get all the keys. Ratzap

Doesn't matter in which account I'm logged in on the web page, tried to restart EVEMon but everytime I visit the link it shows me the ID and Key for my first account, always.

On investigation, I found the issue - and I apologize most profusely for not fully testing the scenario where not all api keys are entered at once. I've rereleased 1.2.4 as 1.2.4.2005 If you patched before about 23:30 today, and your evemon says "997" in the "About Evemon" box then please repatch to 1.2.4.1005 once again, I'm realy sorry for my screw up. _________________________________________________________ Senior EVEMon developer. Anteros	Posted - 2007.07.04 00:57:00 - [42] When i click the link for getting API details, i constantly get the same ID code, but different API key, even though i have logged my main character out from eve-o and then logged this account in with "save password". And i cant find the API section on eve-o, is it because im stupid or is it not accessable from the site, but only by link? EVEmon worked great before they changed to this crap
drapo	Posted - 2007.07.04 04:34:00 - [43] I can't tell if the old way of tracking character updates (the password way, instead of the API) is still available. If not, PLEASE make the old way an option. Also, why does evemon contact google on powerup? Googles tracks everything that makes contact with it.

If you are having troubles with it, and you are semi competent then just get the key this way. Go to your character sheet and right click on something like wallet journal, then click properties. Picture fun! and in case the pic gets removed... linkage!

Well, all I get is my first/main char API. And I think I have tried everything now Have you gone to your My Character screen? Go there, click on the picture of the toon you want to use and it opens the stats for that character. Once you are there, just follow the steps that I mentioned a few posts up (the one with the purdy picture) and it will give you the userID and the API of the toon you happen to of clicked on, along with that characters ID, but you dont need the character ID.

I click the link to get my limited use eve online api parameters I cut and past them in and all I get back after the search is. "invalid API credentials" something is wrong or I am just plain ignorant on getting this started right

Once I relogged on forum with my second account, I also got the key for the second account from the EVEMon link.

For the link to work, one has to log on in the character name of evemon character you r training. THEN hit the link and the info will come up and you can copy and paste it to the link space

Yesterday, CCP had some issues with the webservers not consistently talking to the database for the API stuff but that has been fixed now. To get your api keys for multiple accounts, you must log out of eveo-online (either via the forum or using the "logout" link on the left hand side of the page) and you MUST click the "log on as a different user" checkbox. Next time you go to the api page, you will be prompted to log on and then you can go get your api keys for that account. The issue with not all skills showing on first run is fixed by simply restarting evemon - its a conversion issue where on first run, only skills that were previously in uncollapsed skill groups are shown. If you;re having difficulties, please visit the battleclinic forums where your issue may already be answered. For those running VISTA you may be having problems getting the datafile updates - there are a few ways round this - either run evemon in admin mode when there are udates avaulable, or change permissions on the files in your evemon/resources folder so that they can be overwritten, or download the files manually from http://evemon.battleclinic.com/downloads/eve-skills2.xml.gz (repeat for each datafile name - eve-ships2.gz, eve-items2.xml.gz and eve-implants2.xml.gz) and save them in your evemon resources folder. _________________________________________________________ Senior EVEMon developer. Upgrade to the latest release (actually I recommend upgrading to the latest snapshot binary, which fixes some issues with dates/times if your pc clock is off, and also reintroduces the toolbar as a first step to a configurable toolbar.
