It'd be pretty damn stupid for a group of people to create something great, make a living off of it, then destroy it and leave themselves without an income for no particular reason.
However, not that I fully believe they're doing this, they are human. For example, even though a parent's intentions are to say make a child happy by giving him loads of money everyday, you will only spoil him, and create the illusion that his good life will continue when you suddenly leave, pass away, whatever, you never taught him to learn to live himself.
CPP's intentions might be good, but some things are simply not right. CPP's EVE is supposed to be a game that was ment to be so free of rules in a way, no police in hundreds of systems, no penalty on scamming. Then why were the rights and roles given to a member of a corp when its CEO didn't log on for a while (while the acc was being payed for the entire time)? While that's working against your own rules, you simply let an exploit (in every single way you can view it) in the game allowing people to scam others using game faulty game mechanics that cannot properly function based on lag, and lag only in infamous systems like jita.
Why are titans left overpowered, which is arguably a matter of opinion, though the good arguments are one-sided if you can me.
Why do more devs post in crappy 4 year anniverary topics, sucking up to CPP topics, and topics where one dev makes a joke, and all the other devs jump on it and spam the thread with more crappy jokes than in threads that actually need dev input?
There's alot of things I can mention, but personally the good points of EVE, as a game, the dev blogs, and the fun I'm having after *chosing* to pay the subscribtion every month, after accepting the terms of use whenever there is a change, knowing that whatever I'm paying for might be changed by CPP at any time, very much outweights the cons of CPP and EVE. But that doesn't mean the community doesn't have the right to step up and ask for the devs to inform us even better, listen to us even better, and when disagreeing with us, explaining why even better, and faster. It doesn't mean scamming exploits based on lag should not be heard of. Just because it is acceptable, doesn't mean CPP cannot improve it for the sake of their bussiness and the future of EVE, for the sake of the players.
