By pirates I mean corps that actually pirate in low-sec for a living... let me say that again, corps that actually pirate in LOW-SEC for a living. Not 0.0 corps or mercs that wardec you and make you feel pirated.

I have to give props to Snigg,Tundragon, and this one corp from a while back called the killer clowns from outer space.They made the ostingle area rough when i was a noob.

I've met quite a few good pirate corps in my short time. Obviously this is all subjective as i can only rate corps I have seen (so i mean no offense if you are a good pirate corp and I don't mention you.
Snowy get a fair amount of hassle on these forums but they are good guys that enjoy a fight. I've not been in combat with their neighbours klepto yet but they seem to be built from the same mould so hopefully there are some good fights yet to be had.
Not sure if Veto would fully call themselves pirates as they do a variety of things, but they are also top class pilots never afraid to put it out there.
Had a few run ins with Villains and they seem pretty good, but i see that Deja has left - mate you are one royal pain in the arse! :) My only experience of Turbulent / Monsters has been a fast warp away from a gate camp in Tama!
Prob the toughest pirate corp I have faced tho is VMF-12 Blacksheep. Great guys, totally smack free, not afraid to bring the hardware and skillful with it. Props also to their friends Parabellum.

Imo there arent really any good true pirate corps anymore. Kthnxdie are still about but not hugely active, not sure how active tundragon are either, veto are mercs i thought? Hope DNA are still kicking ass.

And anybody who thinks moving to 0.0 makes you a non-pirate, is dumb. If you kill for a living, and have no friends, then you're a pirate :D

a good pirate corp to me is one that is tasty at blowing dudes up hit and run to make isk, BUT then can switch it up to fight pvpers that come along, and NONE that iv seen since i went back to anti-pirating can do that good. they sure do talk the talk in local though.
