Yesterday BoB won a larger battle against the Goonswarm and their allies in 9-9. It is far too draw any detailed conclusions if they scattered Goons will to fight or if it was just a small squirmish in the battles to come.
But one thing I can predict and that is the inevitable end of BoB.
Why? How in the five skies can I make such a prediction after this battle where they left the field as the winner with 25 or more enemy capitals ships destroyed and numberous other ships turned into dust?
BoB likes to fight, the more the better. Burning skies! Exploding ships! Fighting against all odds! The heat of the battle and the battle pilots' blood burning with the heat of fury. That is - I think - what BoB likes most.
But if the more is better then the fewer are worse. And slowly they are running more and more out of enemies. And what then?
What if all their dreams came true (and the opponents nightmares) and all the big allies are crushed? I don't think that BoB will survive this, they would die of utter boredom. Would they use their whole strength to erase POS of few small alliances which won't set up any resistance? Sounds boring, very boring.
And this won't happen! Because then I think that this will be the end of BoB, they will disband and fight each other then (or they will just leave Eve). And from the looks it is inevitable. I won't happen tomorrow or next month, but still. The more BoB wins and the further they step into their enemies territory, the closer they push themselves towards their own destruction and downfall.
I can't see any other probable outcome, can you?

i know molle wants all of 0.0 as his playground and we are going to try our hardest to accomplish that goal. But bob is like 2k members. never will there not be some massive coalition who wants to fight them.

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this completely unnecessary thread and whilst I am at it congratulate you on the amazing revelations contained within your post of unparalleled goodness.
It's truly important to us all that the same topics are continually rehashed in ways that are at the same time not new and utterly tedious.

I don't understand the people like Blacklight or Tyrrax. I have the same right to post my thoughts here about corps and alliances as you!
And contrary to many other posters I try to set up an argumentation so that if you care and disagree with my conclusions you are welcome to point out what you think are flaws in the argument.
Writing down that you do not care about my post and that it is irrelevant to the comminuty is stupid and arrogant. Stupid because your reply here clearly contradicts yourself because if you really wouldn't care you wouldn't post in here. And arrogant because you think you are talking for 'the' community. But you are only one person, not the whole community, and maybe you lead a big alliance or have large capfleet battles, but that doesn't make you in any way more important or a better person!

It's not that there is anything wrong with you making an assumption such as this - the problem is - that people have been coming with this revelation for the past three years amidst what appears to be a defining win for them. For BoB not to have anyone to shot or kill would basically mean that there were no people on the server.
As we all know, alliances get destroyed, new arises, 0.0 gets vacated, others move in, the circle of natural order continues.... and so does BoB, till they choose to disband.
