well - was in nonni in an unarmed rifter, gambling with the police to slap together some stuff for a roam - warped to a station to pick up the last of my mods and was engaded by the police before i could dock. my rifter blew up right as the "docking request has been accepted" message came up.
suddenly im back out in XXX space, with no implants, no killrights (at the time i was unarmed) NO PODMAIl and worst of all ive lost a ****load of SP aswell - i was 14 hours away from completing amarr cruiser V (ive been training it while i sleep)
there was noone else on the grid BUT the police. gah
so just be careful spamming the dock button when ninja shopping - the loss of the sip is acceptable, i was gambling after all - but to lose my JC as well as my implants with no KM/no KR anda loss of sp (my clone had 4mill spare SP before i needed to upgrade again)

Can you explain what that is, im impressed if you manna ge to lose a ship, implants ans sp in an unarmed ship.

Concord podded you? And how did you lose SPs if you had 4 million to spare before you needed to upgrade?

As far as I know you can petition if you lost pod to concord/sentries...

that sounds very strange. don't think ppl have to worry about a common bug as i've 'ninja shopped' many times with no problems.
don't understand why u didn't get a mail at least. what did the petition response say?

Had a similar situation in my Crow.
I really needed to dock, but I had a GCC, so I risked it, warped to a station and hit dock. Message pops up saying im being towed in etc etc (you are normally invulnerable at this point). Suddenly it tells me I have to wait 30 seconds, then next thing I know I'm sat in my clone half way across the galaxy with no pod mail.
My ship left no wreck, and all of the modules were placed into a jetcan outside the station.
Petitioned and got the isk back for the clone, nut got the old 'logs show nothing' for the ship \o/
EDIT: And no it wasn't the aggression timer that stops you docking for a few seconds ;D

Has also happened to me, I petitioned and my clone and implants were replaced promptly, it was explained as:
'I do apologize for the overzealous actions of our mutual acquaintance, Caldari Sentry Gun II. As you can imagine it tries very hard to make the Caldari State proud (hoping one day to be promoted to Caldari Sentry Gun III!) and when presented with a target such as yourself, hardly a law abiding citizen to be frank, he did what any Sentry Gun in its position would and had a go at you.
The pod killing is a bug. At times if you're in the midst of a session change while your ship is destroyed you'll end up podded as well, with no killmail or otherwise normal death sequence.

thanks for the reply guys - well i have petitioned - as stated i did not expect the ship to survive - the only bit that concerns me is the loss of about a milliion SP :(
am i allowed to ask ccp to replace one of my monitors aswell? it has a fist sized hole in it. XD

It's a bug. It has something to do with the addition of the 'leave ship' option in the station and the removal of the ability to eject while docking to dock your ship, but stay in space. The game simply doesn't know where you are supposed to be in certain cases and it results in you getting podded. It happened to me once.

I've lost a pod in a similar fashion but in different conditions : i was spamming to dock while being shot at ^^ i ended up in my clone station as if someone podded me but without podmail.
