Tread abaut ships that u love and the names u give em 
Tempest: ship that i love(when i finaly get it) and name it : Agamemnon ( yes.. too much B5.. but hay, Earth alliance Destroyers doo look like minmatar ships)
Typhoon:i got no typhoon yet.. and there will be long time before i get one but the name for one is long since desidet: S.S. SugarDaddy 
Horadre: My 'ol reliable, looks like a Indy From Alien, 8th passanger : Nostromo

I have an Atron frigate that I use for agent missions that I named: Tiny Little $h1t, because well, just look at it's size ingame Lol.
and I also have a bestower with the name: Guild Navigator, which I named after the spicing guild navigators from the movie DUNE, they just reminded me of those huge tanks that the navigators sit in. 
Edit: I'm not creative with ship names as you can tell, but these two are the only ones I have named Lol.

Oh, this was about ships  ahem.
I often use star trek names for my ships, such as defiant (caldari cruisers), prometheus (caldari battleship), rhode island (my old gallente ships, thorax/megathron).

i call my Rupture "Black Beard"
since the back-end of the ship looks like one of those old pirate ships ... it even has a Crownest !!! ( prolly some antennas with a light, but it looks like one :D )

I name mine after military commanders from history. Genghis (Caracal), Saladin (Scorp), Hanibal (Megathron) and Lion Heart (Raven).

My Moa I call 'Miss Daisy' well it isn't much faster than the car in the film!
Plus when my Nan needs a lift to the local community centre she's always chewing my ear off from the back. Give me back the homeless anyday at least they will stop in my cargo hold.
