Was great fun and in the end i came back in a catalyst with 2 light neutron blaster2 with dread iron ammo, 2x 150 arties without ammo and mwd.. Not much of tackler anymore but it was what they had in the station..hehe

I have to ask a question here. As part of the support fleet we had regular updates on what was happening on the other side of the gate - after the main cap fleet was destroyed, we had reports of at least 1 carrier and I think 2 dreads that warped in 1 by 1... 1 would get killed, then another would warp in 2 minutes later... get killed, then another would come in... and get killed.
We were a bit confused on TS, was it lag or something that prevented a co-ordinated strike, because whilst it's certainly brave to take on an entire cap fleet solo in a Dread or Carrier, it certainly didn't seem like a good tactical move?

A sad day for my time in EVE tbh à
Big respect to all my fellow Hydra mates for trying.
Tarock / Elrock
i agree in the respect for hydra pilots for trying thingy.
For the rest i cant agree cos ure capitals were not fitted properly (some where) they didnt focus any fire, came in 2 separate waves and the support pilots ure mentioning werent to be seen at ze pos. I certainly do believe u had 200 ppl in system but u cant really blame game mechanics if u never even used them all...

Total lack of comunication caused this, We wernt even aware Hydra pulled away from the POS and went in to assist them as planned, then lagg started to kick in especialy on warp in when 90+ fighters are deployed. end result 3 capitals Vs 25 ment we didnt last very long at all,
GF to you and a very well exicuted trap, shame we wernt even aware of it till we got the kill mails.

Very true mate. I've been thinking about this issue, and basically the only way to FORCE people to fight is to attack their POS, otherwise there is absolutely no purpose in PvP except having fun (and some people just don't find it to be fun, to fight an old school pvp massacre without caps and super caps), this is sad and frustrating, I hope CCP will fix something about their game soon :(

I had BOS in mind, but hey...I'm glad for you to let it out.
despite your smack ill attempt to answer this sensibly. What we (myself and beyond at least) have been experiencing in fountain is that FATAL and Xelas were up for a lot PVP when we first showed up, then losses started to mount and i guess it stopped being fun (no smack on either, truly). So now we find that the only way to get a fight is to threaten something of value like a POS or their ratting isk base. Then and only then can we seem to generate a reaction. If the only way one can generate PVP is to do POS warfare then that is a problem no?
im not exactly sure what you mean by "look who's talking" (perhaps you were refering to us fighting outnumberd and i misunderstood you). you haven't seiged any POS of ours and so far i think we have brought it pretty darn good w/o said pos siege (as our killboard would indicate).
Our Corps current fight aside, I think you can agree LUKEC that if all pvp is centered around POS warfare then a lot of what this game is about has been lost. If HACs, command ships, BS, recons, covops, and carriers just end up playing some kind of support role to dreads seiging a POS then the game is borked and needs fixing. As someone who enjoys PVP LUKEC i think you can probably agree with that as well. At any rate we should at least agree to keep our comments constructive k ----------------------------------------------

Yes you fieled 200 but, only 9 or so was caps, only 20-30 warped into the POS. If you had warped into the POS you would have had the 200 vs our caps. But you didn't, why do you think our support never got into the system? Because you never left the gate. We expected you to come in and try to save your caps you decided not to.
Your numbers are a lot out, but i am not here to give intell. lol ... /salute.
You have to explain this to me.
We killed 9 capitals, all that were on the scene. So this number isnt off at all.
You said yourself you had 200 support in system, gatecamping. So that number cant be off either, apart from the fact we all saw what local was at with only 20-25 of us in it.
And the BS warping to the POS were 15-30...
So which numbers ARE off?
