Agreed. Gallente ships totally lack pearls & feathers.
So when walking in stations will be implemented I guess we shall expect lots of Gallentians with pink fancy handbags.

Why are gallente ships not flamboyant and colorful like their pilots? Gallente ships should have flashing neon windows, and drones that flash around like colorful butterflies. Also, when gallente blasters fire, there should be a loud resounding "zzzzzzap, zzzzzzap"
Thoughts.
The Caldari race have been written to be uniform, militaristic, devoid of senseless non-practical design in their ships. It fits them perfectly.
The Minmatar are a fledgling nation (not anymore though) that needed to put together a fleet to defend its breakaway people asap, their ships are fast and nimble, but made without consideration for design or elegance but practicality and performance and which they excel.
The Amarr have been a rich empire for thousands of years. They elegance of their culture (posh, rich and powerful) reflects that of their ships being elegantly designed and crafted, with deadly capabilities.
The Gallente are the opposite of the Caldari, their ships are designed to be practical but also to be beautiful (tristan) over the top (mega) and illustrious (Hyperion). Although i do agreee that while they use distinct colors like greens and Greys they could be more falshy like the Gallente 'orange' shuttle in places.
Please Help me, YOU could be next!

I dunno, I'd have to say Gallente ships have more shiny bling than the other races, for the most part. The Taranis for instance has a lot of shiny metal bits, and has enough wacked out designs to look "gallente". In fact most of the ships have some sort of interesting bling, especially the T2 ones.

This is why we'll never be able to custom paint our ships. Everyone would buy a thorax, paint it pink and MWD towards the front of a typhoon.
