This particular issue could have been sorted very simply. Telling DS1 what was happening, answering them when they asked why it happened, talking to them at least once while it was being investigated.
Blanket censorship is what brought this on and nothing else. The first time it happened turned up spawned BPO's, can you really blame everyone for being suspicious when history starts to repeat itself?
you do understand that ccp fixes things when they can not when a ceo is online. if goons want ccp to wait to fix things for them till there ceo is on thats fine with me. i however am willing to take something being fixed right away. oh and my ceo doesnt see my petitions so whe would a goon ceo know whats going on. oh nm goons

Originally by: CCP kieron The question that you should be asking is why this became an issue with the corporation three weeks after their player submitted a petition.
Whoa, back up there pal. That's not the tone you take with paying customers, ever. People can have honest misunderstandings, and CCP shouldn't be alledging anything different unless they have absolute proof otherwise.
This was a customer service failure on CCPs part by not having enough customer contact. Why you're takings such a customer hostile stance makes me wonder what your employer is thinking allowing the community manager take up that kind of attitude.
the reason is clear and The community knows goons are trying to use out of game activites to make them winners in game. The community wants an appology from goons and the retirement of thes that made this whole thing up. in addition The community wants goon assets taken for 1 The misconduct they as a group have shown with the intentional crashing of nodes. 2 The repeated attacks on the honor of ccp and players 3 The attempt to steel from every player a great game and 4 The ruining of a holiday weekend for ccps staff.

That's certainly been disproved and from now on, any staff memebr needing to join a corporation in such a way will send an EVEmail to the corporation, announcing his presence and his intentions to the corporation. Hopefully that will ensure that such an innocent and insignificant issue does not take on such gargantuan proportions again.
This should have been policy from the get go. This is the internet, and tinfoil-hattery is stock in trade of its denizens. Thinking anything else was sheer complacency of CCP, ESPECIALLY after other events occurred.
As RE: question 1, Deleted, ignored, closed, whatever, the MINUTE someone filed a petition asking why these events took place they should have received a reply, NOT have to wait 3 weeks, incur the threadnaught, and wait 2 MORE days to be told ANYTHING about what happened. That is the real issue of this portion of the allegations.
I knew they would try to make it look like ccp was waisting time. the fact that they its a holiday weekend means nothing to them. If there really this disturbed why dont they just walk away. the fact that they continue to rant about something that doesnt exist proves that there not going to. I pity goons

CCP, how exactly do you plan us to believe that you'll remain impartial when we have members of the playerbase that shamelessly promote the fact that they have friends that work for you? Something obviously went wrong if you have a non-disclosure agreement...
Something tells me that no matter how mean sounding any non-disclosure agreements may be, they're obviously not followed through on if we have people like Dianabolic gloating about it. What else isn't followed through on?
claiming to have a developer on your side is like claiming God is on your side don't ya think.
