Would you drop/delete a 7M SP char because you didn't like the name?

Mazzarins Demise	Posted - 2007.05.29 19:26:00 - [1] Not five minutes ago I reactived my EVE account a second time and like the first time I did, the name of my main character bothers the crap out of me. Is it worth dropping the char because I dislike the name and can 7M SP be re-trained in a reasonable amount of time? What are your thoughts?

My name was never meant to be a real name, just a filler name I've used for as long as I can remember, but I stuck with it. (I'd even pay 100m for a capital M!) I say don't drop it, unless the name is Mike Hunt or something immature like that.

So 6months at the least for a bad name. if it's well trained you could also try to sell it for isk on the sell forums, deleting it should not be an option imo.

As a member of the Mazzarin people, I find that highly offensive. We are persecuted in RL and I don't need to see this kind of #*#&$ in my game!". With a little bit of luck, the GM will change your name to "Ibin Pwnzored" or something along those lines - or more luck, even allow you to choose a new name!

I take the time to think up a name - whether it's a regular first/last name or a nickname or title and whatnot - and come up with a name that won't have me thinking "That's just craptabulous!"* several months on. So... no. I wouldn't delete a 7m SP char over something like a name. I wouldn't put myself in a position to hate it in the first place. *=Don't ask where I got 'craptabulous' from.
