Honestly if CCP bans peoples accounts over this it would be a positive thing. Expressing your opinion about a matter is one thing but going above and beyond the call of duty over it is something else. Once again I hope Goon tell us what wow server they go to. If CCP employees will quit cheating to thier advantage or for the advantage of others in game, then goons and other resources will stop reporting it. Do not be upset at the goons or whatever party it is that is reporting the "ILLEGAL" and unfair activities of those that can create an unfair advantage or downfall of others. After the T20 thing, I am far more liable to belive goonswarm over CCP at this time about this and / or any other events in the near future. CCP has a long way to go before they retain any real faith from the player base. WildCat

It's the same reason a lot of people don't like BOB, and you've done it on an even larger scale than they have. You wanted to have a big impact on a MMORPG? Congrats, you have. You wanted to expose some disease at the core? I don't think you've made a compelling case. The 'cure' is worse than the disease. I think a lot of you are really smart guys, and I am sure I'd like you if I met you, but please realize that you're alienating a huge portion of us through your actions. Don't blame BOB, screw BOB, look at how you're doing things and how you've portrayed yourselves in the past. That is why you lack credibility and why large numbers cringe to associate themselves with you. On one hand you accuse CCP of ruining the game and victimizing its players, on the other you patronize the community and accuse it of blindness and complicity, when you have failed to present sufficiently damning evidence. You didn't mount an offensive like this when you were actually provably right, and you're surprised to get a backlash when you throw it all against the wall and none of it sticks?

You can go back and look at the logs, and you'll clearly see that we only did it after fights, and not during. The chat and game servers servers are two different things so even if the chat server got lagged you wouldn't notice anything as far as gameplay goes. This was refuted time and time again but thats alright since our battlecry was a convenient scapegoat for our enemies. I don't think you understand just how basic the "hack" is, and CCP, after a year, still hasn't implemented hash checking against the portraits or any of that crap, which they could have easily done.
