Thanks CCP for this great game. I will follow you whereever you will go. I am here since August 2003 and I see how deep and nice this game becomes in this times.

The thing is, in ever game people cheat, break the system and do things they should not do. In an MMORPG, esp like EvE that can be blown up, people get angry, people use it as an excuse, a way to get forward and many other things..
CCP make the game, run the game, and i trust them to resolve the issues that have come about. People wingeing and wingeing about them, will not help solve them. They've been brought to the surface, let CCP deal with them.

3.5 years I've been playing this game. At an average of 2.5 hours a day. That's nearly 3200 hours or 133 days or approx 4.5 months of my life you've taken.

Have to add my little voice to this thread of thanks as well.
I took a break from EvE a little over a year and half ago and cancelled my account.
Then while I was waiting for Lord of Rings Online to go live I reactivated my account just to see what it was like now.
since then I've played Lord of The Rings 4 times and have been playing EvE every day.
So thank you CCP for keeping me away from those nasty elveses and hobbitses :)

imo ccp can't be guilty of nothing in all these storys. but it's a bit excessive to think that they would let themselve disbalance the entire game to a few players against all the efforts they've put to get where they are now.
at least we are sure now they will be very cautious about what they share or do with other players.

I'm not interested in half the nonsense going on right now. The viral nature of the Internet has a way of blowing things out of all proportions and some of the garbage being spouted is ludicrous. It will soon settle down.
All I hope is that CCP continues to expand the game as well as they have done so far. Reading the dev blogs for the next Revelations, there is plenty to look forward to. I am saddened their name has been tarnished on the main gaming sites, for ever since I first began playing I made it my goal in life to convince others to play Eve.

This kinda reminds me of the threads at DDO.com same kinda people who had tons of pre paid months.. And time into the game. Few Devs started it and use to try to brain wash the little boys and girls who posted on the forum. So yes I do like this game. But which part are you? FANYBOY Was always the best end result.

Not sure I understand half of what is flying around the forums at the moment, but I do know that this game is the best thing I have played since I killed my Amiga500 playing Elite2.

EVE Online is truly in my opinion the best mmorpg ever made. Its not perfect. What is? Its the only game that is gives you such freedom to do literally anything you want and the only game where a degree in economics can really come into play.
There is so much to know and learn in this game even 3 year vets can feel like noobs. What other game can claim that? What other game is lag free? Bug free?
I thank CCP, all devs, and employees that make me want to log in and play this game after 3 years. I know there have been issues with cheating, etc, but you know what, in the end it makes soooooo little difference in the end result for 99.9999999% of the players base its not worth fussing over.

Eve could be a great game, but i, like the guy back on page 1 would happily leave eve for a better running game, especially if the devs did'nt play the game itself & keep nerfing everything the alliances or themselves can't handle...There i was having the best time in eve, then boom, ccp nerf it, again & again..i think your all newbs who post'd in here , or u just ain't looking straight... IT COULD BE A GREAT GAME, but not yet, to mainy issues need sorting out before half of eve stops playing altogether...
Hope that brought the devs back to planet earth were EVE lags daily & apparently scammer can scam, but a legit corp/alliance now has limits on its wars, how unrealistic ....darn i could go on

Eve is still by far the best MMORPG I have played and there is no real compeditor.
Although it seems more than a coincidence that "The Trade Federation" owes alot of its success to outside help. (sorry that really is how I honestly feel and I tried to express it in an unflamey way (I just made up a new word)

cos even if the Trade federation become unbeatable and "won" Eve, I could still find many other things to keep me busy

Eve is the best game I ever saw.
Its already huge content, is continually growing because this company (CCP) has very competent and dynamic peoples that have really a passion for their work, and their game; and that shows.

Aye, got to say thanks for eve so far CCP. Sure, we have had the node deaths, the bugs, the exploits and the freaky wtf-moments.
But at the end of it Eve is still a great game, and even after 3 years I am still finding out how deep the rabbit hole goes

EVE does, own granted I won't play it forever, since theres an MMO comming out based on a very popular Sci-fi series comming out in a year or 2, (theres Klingons on the starboard bow!) but its still a very enjoyable game that immerses me quite a bit.

I joined at the tail end of beta, and never made it out of frigs. It hooked me on the game and the concept of MMoRGs. When beta ended with a huge number of bugs still in it, I decided I would try to see what else was out there. I was not able to find anything that even compared. So after a bit of searching and not finding anything better, I put my money down.
Since that time I have been in an empire corp (Old Farts) that avoided politics and wars, that you could allow your 8 year old type in the chat window without fear of problems.
I have been in an alliance (FIX) that was pushed to the brink by massive numbers of hostiles.
I am in an Alliance (BoB) that is at the very peak of what a large PVP organization can be.
There is so much in this game that I cant see ever becoming bored with it.
Yes, there are bugs. Yes, there are exploits. Yes, there are people that get enjoyment out of things that I cant understand (newbie baiting with cans in starter systems). But the game is still the best I have ever found.

Agreed 110% always gonna be some sore losers whining about how they are getting a bad shake. Heck I wouldn't mind seeing the dev's in-game a bit more.
