now that im here i might as well reply :P
i kinda liked the idea of making a new character.
however, i would train a super long skill, and make a new character on your current account (or maybe even a new account)
dont transfer anything, and go run some of the old L1 missions
i recently had the "opportunity" to help a friend with worlds collide because h is a new character and was reminded how fun new missions can be. with all the "OMG IM GONNA DIE!!!"
just make sure you dont transfer anything from one character to another, that will defeat the pourpose

Eh, if you need the game to throw something at you to do next you don't really 'get' EVE. Hint - It's not a greed simulator.

That was the best advice anyone can give you. Take a walk and think about the issues at hand. Your surroundings will present an answer - if you are willing to own up and rise to the occasion.
It is also good for your health.
Or you could stay indoors and take advice from the wow kiddies that are streaming in. Jita isn't the best place to hang out.

I know where you're coming from Princess Trinity, I've felt the same way at times... Many of the whiners in this thread can't comprehend what you have accomplished in this game, and how sometimes you just need time to relax and regain ur "Mojo".
Train a new race of ships, experiment with a new in-game profession, travel to a new region of space, join a new corp, if none of that sounds interesting... Then take a break and come back with fresh ideas when you feel ready.

Maniacal greed is one of the best parts of Eve - the satisfaction of never paying a fair price for your stuff. The ISK accumulation itself isn't what matters - it's how you get it. Ripping people off is heart warming , regardless of the amount 
Trinity - don't you get the point ? The solo scammer can never buy trust or friendship , it's something you need to preserve from the start , or lose forever. I'm not surprised that you find your Eve life shallow , with no sense of purpose. That's because scamming isn't just a way of being rich ; it's an end. EVE is the game that ends when you stop wanting to do things (or aren't aware of things to do). You can stop flying awesome ships and make even the crappiest ships in EVE cool? T2 fitted Augoror with demon lasers or demon autocannons and etc. Augoror's are cool =(
Fix your sec status...fly around in Empire talking to people...eventually something will come to you or you'll stop playing. =P

2. Build your own POS, park 10 ships in it and play POS bowling.
3. Get Concordokkened at least once in every ship that you can fly.
4. Play with some macrominers.
5. Do level 1 missions in a capital ship and see if you can finish one in under a minute.
6. Build some container art in Jita.
7. Set a 1000 jump autopilot course and see how far you can get before you get blown up.
8. Visit all the points of interest in the game and drop a container saying Trinity was 'ere
9. Join an RP corp, get married and divorce them, thereby losing half your wealth and only being 1/2 as miserable.
10. Start a one man corp and declare war on BoB.

Failing that, start up a trade school and teach me how
If it were me i'd just find ways of useing all the iskies to help my corp, with it all split between corp, investment capital, and personal use, loseing stuff might mean enouth to make it exciteing again.
Failing that i'd either take a break or aim for a Nyx

EVE isn't all about how much ISK you have, or what shiny ships you fly...if you think otherwise, maybe you should start playing the game instead of caring about trivial stuff. Go roaming with a few friends instead of flying solo, PVP is supposed to be the fun part, the fights...and not ISK/ships.

I agree, start your own corp and train noobs to become billionaire's just like on the teletube.
Its easy to lose 5 command ships in a month in 0.0, they are considered a high priority targets.
BTW I could use 2 bill to replace my dread

I think your misunderstanding the 'I win eve', Eve isn't all about isk, or PVP (gatecamping), or FAME, its about community and friendship. The game is much more about the journey, than the destination, and you think the destination is isk and skills.
Therefore eve is empty to you, hence the lack of feeling, also I think you feel down because you have this ability to use up a community, and alienate yourself. The constant 'look at me' threads. etc don't bode well for ones esteem. Especially when you go looking for esteem boosting on the forums.
