Why do we keep playing?

Ive been playing since the first month the game came out. I love eve and think this is the most indepth complicated game around. That said, after this latest scandal I may have to call it a day. One issue that stands out in my mind is the fact that Ive had a research agent for over three years, do missions quite often, have all my research skills up and I have never ever gotten an offer. Meanwhile, we all know BoB has Countless Tech 2 BPO's. I mean come on, throw me a friggin bone here. Ill take a Bantam BPO at this point. I Just want to know that all the time I put into that charade was worth something. Isk is not very easy to make in this game, to earn a good amount , its almost like eve is a second job sometime, with the time commitment it takes...Unless tech 2 BPO's get handed thrown into your lap, has we know has happened before. I like CCP, I like everyone I met at the Fanfest. But I will not stand for corruption.

I can only base this off of my own personal experiences and perceptions and also what has happened in the past. Can anyone say for certain that its not rigged? Yes, CCP should play the game...but if they play, they should be in the no name corp/alliance. Not the most notorious. That just gives fuel to the critics.

Isnt anyone curious about what the distribution percentage is of BPO's throughout the game? I know Im never going to find out that info but its something Id like to know. And Im not saying that is is corrupt...just that it does appear to be that way to some.

Isk is easy to make in the game. Depending on what you do it's easy and no I will not tell you what to do cause you'll cut into my profits and no its not T2 bpo production. now some of these examples may have been off the wall but its all open to interpretation just like these accusations from this one group. Which mind you is always the same group when ever these things pop up. I will not name the alliance but you know who I am talking about. but i got one for you, if you want to here corruption. all these whiners like you say they are going to quit but never do. you also never give your stuff to the first guy who posts it, why not? what he do other than being the first to ask. these are the real questions we need to be asking. WHY ARE YOU HERE? QUIT ALL READY!!!

I will just say this, last year when I went to the fan fest I did notice that certain members of one group did seem more familiar with the Devs than your average player. I saw it myself.

Even if CCP formed a supercorp with all devs as pilots and started to conquer the EVE universe, i'd keep playing, and hopefully we'd get a real war going on between CCP and the players

But I will not stand for corruption. 1 post with your main. this ones only a few months old. 2 Your assuming and/or implying that bob wouldn't have any without aid from developers. most likely they bought a lot of them. 3 Isk is easy to make. hi level mission runners make 25 to 100 mil per day depending on what there doing. 0.0 ratters make 50 to 150 mil per day. Exploration is growing but that is a team sport and as you seam only interested in yourself im leaving it out. Right now the biggest growing income source is moon mining and processing. this is a outgrowth of the invention process as more players use the moon mined materials to build invented t2 items. The price of these materials has doubled in the last 30 to 60 days. comparing a single player to an alliance isn't a valid comparison. and thats whats been done with bob. oh the cry they have developers in bob. guess what there are most likely developers in every alliance. not for gathering information for another alliance but to help anticipate load balancing requirements. bob has taken advantage of this as a great psi-ops tool. You can see historical references to the winning side telling its people we have God on our side as a means to buttress there bravery and this is what bob has done. I am really surprised that no other alliance has come out with the recruiting idea of join us our developers are better then bobs developers. Thanks ccp for the place to post and for the built in spell checker so I don't look like a total idiot.

The most ive made from a single mission including bounties is 15 million, and thats rare. On average its between 7 to 10 million isk per mission. I make a bit more If I go after all the loot in my 4 tractor beam fitted destroyer but it take longer. A mission can take as long as 2 hours or more depending on the mission, or as little as 15 minutes. So to make over 100 million, thats a good chunk of time,

I use a apoc i had sitting around from when it was the best ship to mine in so converted it to salvaging cleaning. lot more cargo room. a lot of the pay from agents is determined by your raiting with them so the longer you use them the beter they are respects on your first point

I got a pic of TomB hugging a friend of mine at one of those fanfests, my corpmates and i even had a nice "corp to dev" chat with Oveur. Neither that friend, my corpmates or myself ever got any t2 bpo out of the lottery up until a few months ago. So you must understand, i'm very interested in all this favoratism stuff.
