Does anyone care? The further away from this game they are the better. For sure, they'll be hard pressed to find any other alliance that will work with them after the contempt they've shown our community.

Who cares where any alliance ends up in three months, apart from those individuals who hold their alliance in their hearts?
As for me? Politics, ingame politics and the entire in game alliance mechanic doesn't gel together. It's a bunch of corps under an umbrella of convenience. Eventually with real life getting in the way or just a "can't be arsed" attitude to the perma-docked politiking that is Eve the individual corps will/may move on, citing whatever excuse they deem necessary.
Friendly fire incidents will still occur (either down to the bugged local settings, or personality conflicts) Eve players hold a grudge for a very very long time and we all remember the name :D
Alliances, as in empires, come and go. History is always being re-written. Thankfully, this isn't real life so the "dead" never truly die, just move on, rebuild or give up.
As for GoonSwarm, I don't remember meeting them for good or bad. Other alliances and individuals I will always remember, most I will thank for the experiences over the last three years.
Now! This carebear wants some pizza, coffee and some planet pvp action.
BRING IT ON, and leave 0.0 politics where it belongs. (far away from empire)
Life is about memories the more the better.
