Petition it and they will get warned. Then if they keep it up petition again and they will be banned.

Although this is an abuse of game mechanics, and i advise you to petition, it isnt for players to decide what is an exploit and what is not, so this is a very pointless topic.

Some sort of delay leaving a corporation would be best i think, not only for this situation.
Leave a corporation, be kicked from it and all your access in that corporation is blocked. No more access to hangers, wallet or anything else. But you stay in the corporation for 24 hours with an extra 'tag' showing that you are in the process of leaving. So anyone who info's you knows you aren't in the corporation anymore.
You would still be killable for people at war with your old corporation as long as those 24hours are not finished.
The timer should count only when leaving a player corporation though, so leaving a NPC corporation shouldn't take time.

A DAY is good; like u need a day for the bueurocratic stuff to be done... sounds even realistic.

The Point was one of our corp members did go to the gms and complain about it. The sad it was a crappy taktik but nothing else. and our player got ****ed of and soon saw him self gagged by a gm.

I like the idea of 24h delay without hanger access... but there are worse things that can be done with an npc character than run away.
My friend who is in an alt corp for wars on carebare empire space corps recently witnessed a shocking "underhanded tactic".
The enemy corp actually had one of their members join an npc corp and deliberately fly into missiles, causing concord to chew their frozen corpses.
What made me laugh is that BOTH corps were trying to do this, and BOTH corps petitioned the other for exploiting. (GM's say it is not an exploit, but they warned a few people anyway).
One of the corps got upset and gagged by a GM, then whined on the forums..... the other laughed their nutz off and got on with it, albeit somewhat confused.
