After giving it some though, im actually for the eanm cpu adjustment, not as a boost to amarr, but as a nerf to omni tanks, they're just too prevalent and too powerful, you shouldnt be able to slap 1-2 eanmIIs on any damn ship you want and get near active resists, it's rediculous. Hell I'd like to see invuln field cpu increased too now that I think about it, and all active hardener cpu need reduced, not just the armor ones.

The basic idea is ok. 3x EANM IIs easily outperformed expl+kin+therm active hardeners. However, buffing active hardeners wasn't an option ? ___

Any kind of EANM CPU increase is going to hurt the Gallente blaster boats.

All I can say is thank god it's something - Amarr and Minmitar T2 get incredible tank from these things, the explosive and EM resists (the two most unique racial damage types) will at least be breakable this way. Incredible pain, but breakable.

Sarcasm?
Nerfing eanms isnt the brightest idea if u want to boost amarr. They will nerf all (almost) armor tanks
And the op got some valid point agree with those I do.

Think you'd be better off buying ss mag stabs coz they have a -10 cpu fitting req to T2.

Thanks for the 25% tracking...
The eanm nerf, you can put that in general armour tank nerf section, DO NOT SAY IT IS AN AMARR BOOST!

Hello,
i think it is obvious that the amarr need a boost. So let's see what we will get. Increasing cpu req for EANM this will imply (from ccp point of view) less people fitting those things. Which means people will have their EM resistance lowered. To be honest when you see it that way it is good, the question is "will this change force people to remove EANM?" if it does it is good. Because they need to nerf omni tank, guess what if people are no longer boosting their EM resistance, because they need to boost the others ones, it will be awesome for amarr. Not to mention that who will be fitting EM active hardener knowing that they have good base resist and amarr flying in pvp is becoming rare. So if this changes means " people armor tanking will now have their hole on EM" then it is good.
An another good things is the mega pulse tracking boost, this one i like it very much. 25% wowowo i like it on my geddon with tech 2 pulse.
Whatever happen i will still be flying amarr ship ( cuz i have too much sp in them), and for ratting and pve i just use my wtfpwn raven.

Yes, this nerf is a big joke, just look, what are 99% of PVP raven are firing? some EM missile. What is my lower resist on my hyperion? EM, on my astarte? explo first and then.. EM, on my myrmidon? EM, ect, ect.

Edited by: Rigsta on 10/06/2007 13:45:36 It makes the EANMII the same grid/CPU as active T2 hardeners, thus removing the resource advantage an EANMII gives. Honestly the only ship this has hurt is my Enyo, which now has to resort to named rather than T2 modules to actually make a decent ion blaster fitting.

Really, the fact that it ****es you all off so much makes it a good nerf imo. Just for that reason alone.
Now you might have to think a little bit out of the box to fit your tank. People who copy the fotm setups will be hit the most and that is a good thing.

is everyone forgetting that the named active armor hardeners MIGHT get a cpu reduction too?
atm its 32 for named and 44 for T2...
after the patch the T2 will drop by 8 cpu for certain.... we might get a cpu reduction on the named hardeners too
example..
Blasterthron tank atm... [example] 2x large rep II 2x eanm II 1x named DC 1x named exp hard 1x mag stab
The exp hard might get reduced by 6 or 8 cpu, making atleast 1 of the EANM II fit, if yuo get a 5% implant instead of a 3% cpu implant your fitting might fit after the patch too...
or your tank could be revamped to...
2x Large rep II 1x Named kin hard 1x named therm hard / t2 1x named exp hard / t2 1x DC II /named 1x Mag stab II
there is no actual numbers behind this, as I dont got anything to rely on, but I know for certain that my Blasterthron fittings will fit after the patch too. giving me a nice 70-75% res across the board.
as you can see, the "revamped" tank got lower res on EM and better res on the last 3 types.
