Edited by: syphurous on 04/06/2007 23:58:57 So we say farewell to the Offer system and look towards the LP store. I've had my fair share of charters, multiple +1 implants, and useless goods, all a waste of time. EG: Please Throw 10 Million Away As it is now only items worth their LP are the connections skillbooks and Navy Issues or implants if you dont have them.
I was playing on SiSi over the weekend finding rare items that are not in the autolink database while ratting in Low Sec ( no pies on SiSI :P ) and after doing a level 4 mission from a local agent in my home on TQ, & havent made any LP ( that I could find a record of ), is this how it works ? ( it doesn't display where it use to, with your agent ). Or are all lvl1 - 4 missions no longer going to generate LP, only isk ?
Are the items in the LP Store going on offer going to be placed correctly LP to Isk price wise ? Or are there going to be crazy amounts of implants drowning the market within hours of (Rev 2 ) the stores release ?
Would like to know if any mission runners have been on SiSi trying things out.
If a Dev is reading ( which I hope you are ) please make sure you can see your total isk for a corp with any agent in that corp so I can it update as I do missions. ______________________________

I too have been on Sisi and ran a number of lvl 3 and 4 missions with my usual agents.
Athough the mission text stated i would be awarded lp for the mission i could find no record of actually gaining any or any trace of the few thousand lp i had when the mirror was taken.
It appears as though CCP has done part one, remove the offers, but has not yet introduced part 2, the store. I REALLY hope this is finished before release.
Also what will happen to all the lp i have before the release? will i loose it should i accept whatever offer my agent hands me before i logoff for the patch?
many questions but no mention of this "feature" in the game develpoment forum. but then its PvE content isnt it so ....

yea!
i think many items will see a big pricedrop and the value of LP will probably decrease, as the ones waiting for a cnr will be able to check in their millions of lp they have total between their agents.
I wont try to get anything out of the store to sell the first month or so, until prices stabalize on the market, and the real value of the lp is shown (will probably be around 500-800 isk/lp, probably in the lower part)

Exactly, waiting for the initial wave to pass is probably the best idea. If CNR's ever hit ~ less then 500 mil, i am definetly going to pvp in them though. The added HP and damage is just awesome Sig removed. If you would like further details please mail [email protected] with a link to your signature. - Elmo Pug |

Probably the true value will be even lower.
Yesterday I got an offer for a Federation Navy Comet, so i did some research:
The offer is for 1 run blueprint for 30K LP and 10mil isk.
The ship, in contracts, is sold in acutions with a starting bid of 20 mil, and a buyout at 35 mil, for a value of the LP from 333 to 833. As there are on sale multiple comets, some for a flat sum of 30 millions, at best even in auction it will go for that, so about 666 isk for LP.
I don't know if the ratio stay the same for the higher navy offers, but it is a really low return.
After implementing the LP store I fear the value will go even lower.
And the LP store was defined a "isk sink" in the old Dev blog, so I fear all the offer will require a isk payment beside the LP payment.

A while ago (approx 1 year I think) some dev stated that intended LP value was 1000 isk / LP. It was back when +3 implants still went for 30 .. 35 mil / unit.
Of cource it's free market and even those intentions might not be true anymore, but if LP price drops too low then I doubt that many people move to low sec into lev 5 missions, as I understand it's mostly bounty free yielding just dog tags and more LP than lev 4 missions.
If LP price drops under 800 isk / LP then I will propably stop accepting any offers and start collecting them for +7 implants (should those be ever implemented). Unless I find something in the store I want ofcource (like navy modules what were removed a while ago from offer table or faction POS prints).
PS. Navy cruiser/frigate offers in general have spectacularly crappy isk/LP relation as they are not better than tech 2 and tech 2 is relatively cheap for time being.
