Has anyone gotten a print yet? Anyone? If so what print has been made?
I can only Assume with the new skill required to research and all that no one has been successful as of yet.
Was this to be the saving grace of Eve? LEARN more skills, Mine more ore, and do more boaring agent missions?
Agent missions--I thought they fixed the bug where the agent would not give a mission if your ship was not capable of holding that amount of cargo? My last mission was a 28 jump round trip required me to transport 725 frozen plant seeds...My Thorax with two cargo expanders was not capable of hauling all at one time. And the time limet was for 1 hour...I failed... Free-form Professions, ensure no limetations on professions. Be a trader, fighter, industialist, researcher, hunter,pirate[/i] or mixture of them all.

Edited by: Ruffles on 12/01/2004 11:56:22 I would highly recommend having a Vexor available to you if you are running a lot of courier missions.
A Vexor with 4 x Expanded Cargohold I's should give you a nice 930m3 cargo space.
Fitted with a large afterburner and microwarpdrive and she can fly along pretty smoothly.
Might be worth a thought.
No idea about if they made a patch to prevent those types of missions, but probably best asked in the Missions channel, as some guys might be more assistance there.
Yep, if you look in some of the threads, I think there is one in here, you will see information about the Tech 2 small armour repairer blueprint someone has.

There are some T2 shield rechargers available on the market forum.
I will probably make some T2 micro photon smartbombs later in the week or at the weekend if no one else has.
If you are talking making bpc's the requirements are high and it is unlikely many people have the requirements yet.

well, it makes sense for the first stuff to be defensive. if the offensive stuff came first, then no one would be able to defend themselves well, and it would upset the game balance. much better to have stronger defenses before the strong offense.

I have to agree and I don't know anyone at all anywhere that has a tech 2 bp..
maybe in TECH 6

hehe having a stronger defence that your advesary is just as much an advantage as having supirior firepower .. so if fyrst tech II items are defensive or offensive it does'nt matter

You would be doing yourself a major disservice by selling BPCs for the item.
You can use this to trade for direct swaps of other T2 BPCs so long a syou don't de-value its worth by trading out BPCs to all and sundry.
Your BP - your call though.

This isn't a bug!! Geeze apparently you don't even know what a bug is.
This is called not accepting missions you can't handle. It's completley realistic and makes alot of sense. If you tell someone you'll do something in real life that you're incapable of then it's your own fault for failing.
Now, if the agent were to give you the mission without informing you what it was about then it could possibly be seen as a poorly implemented feature, but even then still wouldn't constitute a "bug".
Now for future reference when you're given a mission read your journal BEFORE accepting it and if you can't pull it off don't attempt it. It's just basic common sense.

Actually, the current LIMITED run BPCs don't devalue the original BPs. Whether the owner of the original builds and sells 20 Mag Backup Array IIs or sells a 20 run copy and someone ELSE builds them, the net result is still 20 Mag Backup Array 2s added to the economy. In fact, it's faster (and therefore more profitable, assuming demand >= supply) to build than to copy... but many researchers will have high science skills and no manufacturing skills so selling copies becomes a good way for them to cash in on a Tech 2 BP without selling the original.
The only way selling BPCs will hurt you is if there is limited demand for the item (a Small Shield Extender 2, for example) and you sell max-run BPCs. Of course items with low demand aren't very profitable anyway, so who cares if you saturate what little market they have... but for the more useful stuff BPCs are no big deal.
