So i'm a little dunk and figured I would Put it up for grabs.
Resistance if Futile. Please keep all the crapola of devs/exploiters etc. out of this thread or I will have to hunt you down and buy you a beer and force you to drink it. Because thats just how I am.
Some of us have been in many alliances. Some of us have only been in 1 alliance. Please Refrain From putting your own Alliance.
Make a list 1 through 5 naming the alliance. And reasons you think it would be fun.

It has been my experience that alliances are the suck. Have only been in a few so maybe there are some good ones out there and I have just had bad experiences.
I hate:
- the lack of freedom
- all the blues
- all the morons that somehow made it into the alliance before you
- the arbitary command structures full of morons that have no idea telling you what to do and how to do it
- flying with incompetant pilots
But the important thing is I am not the slightest bit bitter :)

I can see that BC ain't the only one drunk. lol.
1. MC -organized fighting with folks who really have spirit of friendship and teamwork.
2. FIX - gotta throw the bone DS's way I suppose. (linux users unite!) 
3. Foundation - For the pure amazingly impossible uphill struggle that is...The Great Wildlands.
4. BOB- for that 'well oiled machine' look.
5. Last, I will go against the rules here: FREGE.
I've been in several alliances in this "character" as well as the one I retired a couple years ago (from EVE "start").
Frege has a feel like only two other alliances did since I joined EVE, the original Curse Alliance and the NVA (prior to the "troubles".) That feeling is of community, teamwork and of course BEER FLEETS! -heh heh.

For once i agree with burn eden. Being in any alliance is boring as ****. Following orders like lemmings, defending and attacking pos all day or at best getting a bs fleet and sitting around a lagged out gate for 4 hours.
Then again running around shooting random targets with no meaning or purpose is also boring.
I'd says the small pvp none-territorial alliances/corps are far better than the big territorial alliances. Outbreak are probly very fun, as are Ev0ke.

1.) TIE: Veto or Establishment - Yes, they are both alliances. Yaaarrrr!!! 
2.) BoB - Log in, kill everyone, log out. Have a steak. Or, eat a steak first. It's all good.
3.) UK - Because they are the underdogs and get to say things like, "Die, slaver scum!" and no one thinks it's strange because they are role-players.
4.) CVA - Because killing Matari Fundamentalist Terrorists and quoting scripture in local has just got to be fun sometimes. 
5.) Outbreak - Because some corps just don't need no stinkin' alliance badge!

1. The MC. Basically because they are all over eve, see a lot of things, meet and kill a lot of different people, and have to deal with a wide range of tactics and targets. Not to mention having to devise strategies for regions constantly, as alliances die and shift borders and hot spots around the map.
2. BOB. The winning team,the most powerful alliance in eve. Winning is fun, being part of bob, and vaporising enemy morale by simply showing up has got to be fun. Not to mention being part of a well oiled machine, which they have to be, dispite the supposed *****z.
3. Roadkill. They know what they are doing, and against the odds continue to prevail against those that oppose them.

5. BE - Who cares if their not an alliance. A mate of mine recently joined them an had over 200 kills in 4 days. As a pvp'er at heart how do you not love that.

1.Fuzzy NuT Attack Squierels-dont know anything about them but thats a bad assed name
2.Goonswarm-they just seem to be having a lot more fun then other people
3.BOB-dont think it would be fun per say, but maybe cool for a little while to be the evil bastad of the game
4.OUTBREAK-cold hearted group of pvpers who put up good numbers seem to have a really good time and dont smack in local i like that.
5.Iac-they drunken frig raids have got to be so much fun.
