Reminds me of a real life salvage story going on now.
Some people found an old shipwreck with several hundred million in gold and silver. They salvaged it... yet Spain started whining saying it was theirs they should get agro and are threatening to send out their battleships.
Spain had a couple hundred years to go back to their station and fit some salvage modules.. but they didn't so someone else beat them to it.

Theiving from wrecks should cause aggro, just as it does for cans.
last time i checked taking from a wreck gave aggro just like taking from a can would.... salvaging on the other hand does not.
and sounds like most people say wrecks belong to everyone, so i guess all the loot in them, and jettisoned cargo (jet can mining) should also be up for grabs for everyone else to take.
and yes salvagers on pvp ships.... brilliant tactics. thats the nos problem solved, everyone should have a salvager or two!!!

Quote: The dude wants to kill noobs, with no consequences. He already admitted he could kill the guy, it just would have cost more than he was willing to pay. He'd prefer not to have any consequences for killing some guy, in high-sec, for salvaging.
That was not the intention of this thread, and I'm pretty sure you know that. The salvage was merely an example of where a player was taking advantage of his NPC corp status, and where the player was powerless in regards to threatening them. -- Fix Caldari | Fix Rigs |

Thanks for posting that. ^_^
I take advantage of the fact that I'm in an NPC corp by traveling through high-sec with a feeling of relaxation instead of fear (with the exception of the rare suicide gank). As long as you don't take that away...
