I HATE the massive modules, when my cargo is open then I can't even use every module I have fitted because I always put my cargo in the bottom right corner because it is easy to use there. The massive buttons for each module are very annoying, and I just KNOW one day I am going to accidentally overload them and destroy all my modules, goodbye to a few hundred million. Why does something which IMO is completely uselessand I will never use get given so much of the UI? I liked the old UI but this one is hideous TBH. Plus the patch lost all my browser bookmarks, bookmark folders and window positions and sizes, now when I open a wreck the window is massive, if I resize it to a decent size then my items and ships window in station are made really small too.
I hate the new UI, it is a lot harder to use and dominated by a completely useless way to destroy your modules, I will never overload my modules as I don't want to destroy them, and now I can't even use all my modules without the overview and my cargo getting in the way.

Heh sucks to be you
I loves it, looks spiffy and now I can overload my modules on peoplez like you who'll never see the tactical use to 30% more range with my webber, 50% more speed with my MWD, 10% more armor repiared with my repper and 15% more damage with my guns YYARRRRR. Cause ya know used sensibly you dont blow yer ship up :P
OH and as far as I know it does NOT! ever destroy mods, just offlines them....but yeah in a fight if your guns go offline you pretty much die anyway, but still dont be dumb and think if you accidently hit overload your ship explodes

Waste of money, I would much rather kill the rats normally and not have to pay loads of cash to fix stuff. Still, at least they aren't destroyed, suppose that's something. Still, why would I want to overload all my modules, oh wow I kill 1 rat faster but then I can't finish the mission because I have no weapons and no tank.
now, fix the UI!

if you think you'll never overload your modules then lock them to a non-overload state to remove the risk of overloading accintetally, just like i did (or you could just not train thermodynamics... ) ofc i'm not telling how it's quite obvious how to do it. * Not the worst decision ever, but the HUD is plastic and ugly. * Heat buttons are way too easy to accidently click, especially in fast paced PvP, as it generally give small spikes when trying to activate modules. * Character screen.. ok, this thing makes me cry. Why is the dropdown menus with black background? It's horrible and annoying to watch the skills. I wish we at least could chose colour on dropdown menus to solve this. * Velocity bar keeps taking small jumps instead of moving smooth as it used to. * Still few options to chose colours, where's the RMR-winered colour option for the UI? We have RevI still available even tho it's RevII out (and possible to chose that from menus).
Alot of things just went alot more ugly and less userfriendly. I never understood why CCP wants to dictate colours of UI/HUD and won't let us choose it (could be easy to use in settings menus) ourselves. Alot of people have problems with different colours, and just simply have different preferences.
I know I'd spend more time in EVE if it just was more appealing to the eye, and in some cases not only more appealing - just less annoying to watch.

To associate PvP in Eve is completely wrong on every level. Eve was largely desinged as a PvP game! Industry in Eve largely exists to support PvP. Uhr Zylex is right, heat allows pilots more options and, on occasion, a slight advantage at a crucial moment. Again, PvP does not equal greifing. *slap slap* NOT grief. Good heavens.

I believe you can change the color and transparency of the UI. If I am mistaken than I have a very special client, and don't want to give it up!
I personally like the new UI, still like some more changes(FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LET US MOVE THE DRONE MENU ), but overall I think its an improvement.

I quite like the new module buttons. Sure, they're somewhat bulkier than the old ones, but you can ACTUALLY see if something like a siege-launcher is firing or not now Plus, your cargo-window can actually be moved around, incase you didn't know

We need more UI customizability because of the sheer amount of information you need to play effectively. At the very least, we need to be able to move the drone UI to the top of the overview panel (can you do this already? How?)

There's an easy fix for that problem. Buy a bigger monitor I picked up a 19" wide screen pretty cheap. It makes ALL the difference in EVE because I have plenty of room for chat windows, overview, and cargo windows and STILL see the beauty of space as I'm blown into a million little pixles.

have any of you whining cry babies ever used the 'F' keys to use you modules???????? I am guessing not, which also tells me you will not have any pvp experience..... so my advice is organise you UI so that the modules you are most likely to use are actionable through you F-keys. no stop the whining... please...

The purpose of a UI is to make things EASIER for people, not harder!!!!
You're claiming that people should adapt from a UI that worked for them, to a much crappier UI without complaining....
Workarounds to features that are broken doesn't fix them. They're still broken!

PVP is NOT Griefing! This isn't Everquest or WoW. (While Some PvPers do grief other players (Free "Stuff" Traps or Smartbombing N00bships), PvP in and of itself is not griefing. And PvP can be Very Rewarding in the ISK Dept........

Please reference these UI design guidlines, I'd like to see them, but seriously though I doubt you have much either as you would see that using F-keys is not a workaround but an added feature to allow the user to customise his UI to better suit his needs. Also, the buttons are bigger, so it should be (as you put it) easier to use and thus an improvement. I must say I like the new look very much, nothing broken imho.
