Haha, I can only imagine what kind of life you're living. That's a movie I've got to see. :)
Oh, and The Ring is definitely one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. To be perfectly honest though I'm not much into horror movies... They're too scary ;)

To add my own, related thing to this...the cover to the second Jurassic Park movie I have. It has a bunch of raptors attacking on the front, and everytime I picked it up, I imagined them ripping through the paper cover and eating me. I'll search for a picture of that cover.
EDIT: Got it. ~~~Sig Stuffs Here~~~ I highly recommend drunken posting. This sig has been unhighjacked since 2005. |

Speaking as a 20 year old, I'd say Psycho. It wasn't the gore I found scary; it was the tension. I have much more respect for filmmakers who can scare people with a minimal amount of violence on screen. ------ Spreadsheets: Top speed calculation - Halo Implant tanking |

The original japanese version of Ringu (not the poxy american remake The Ring). Something about subtitles that makes it even more scary than it should be.
Although... there seems to be a consensus among people I've talked to about it. Anyone that saw Ringu before The Ring hates the remake and loves the original. Anyone who saw The Ring first knows whats coming and therefore don't find Ringu scary. Kinda sucks.
Damn US remakes!

The Thing. Not necisarilly the best but one of. When I first saw this i was scared s***less (i was 13-14) but its up there cos its also one of few films i could watch over and over. Have to agree with Candyman being a brilliant film too.
To turn it on its head, as well as best what is the worst horror you've seen? Personally I hate the current fad (I hope) of all out sickening gore, like Hostel. They dont scare, just the occasional cringe, and they're so predictable.
