Two days later after the first Titan kill with the pilot actually logged on and not a single peep from CCP. Oh well. I seem to recall much of the CCP staff having the weekend off so maybe they'll respond tomorrow or Tuesday. If they don't respond by this time next week a lot of people are going to be pretty angry, especially with this being the first 'intended' death of a Titan - in the heat of battle. (I can't use the word 'legitimate' because I'll get a bunch of angry comments from BoB members)
Are you planning another threadnaught?

No. I was actually referring to the first page with the people who scream about favouritism every time a single employee of CCP sneezes. (like Sebesto)
I got pretty tired of the CCP hate a while ago.

Still no wreck or monument, but it seems that CCP is working on it. At least the backstory is available and that is the only time consuming thing.

I think the whole "first legitimate kill of titan" thing is a big ******** bandwagon. When you log off with aggression you have a 15 minute timer before your ship disappears. Killing a ship with a logged off pilot within that 15 minutes is perfectly legitimate.
I suppose if a titan pilot jumps into 20 goon/RA/buddies gets aggression and then logs and warps out you guys probably wouldn't bother scanning it down and killing it because the kill wouldn't be "legitimate." Give me a break.
If anything this is the first titan kill where the pilot wasn't a complete moron for logging off with aggression.

I think it only be fair that there should be a monument of the "Shrike Avatar Wreck". Although i am part of "The Alliance" i think that it is only fair that All titan wrecks should be turned into a monument after a Titan kill has been made.
This is only my personal view on the subject and does not reflect the opinions of my Corp/Alliance.

Those aggression timers included:
1. BoB shooting a wreck of CYVOK's right as he logged out.
2. A BoB spy Covops micro-smartbombing Wotankn as he logged out and emergency warped.
They had no knowledge of their aggression timers. But I guess in your opinion they should log on every 5 minutes to check right? You should probably get off of your uninformed horse.

Here is a stellar example of speaking with mouth full and head empty.
Let me just say that I have heard 3 different excuses about why cyvok died. All three from Cyvok himself. Reading ASCN forums 4tw.
His immediate response was that there was a power outage that caused the disconnect. Then that story morphed and then morphed again to the one that the Goons love the most. The one that showes bob to be the enmy of all that is good in the world. They shot one of his wrecks blah blah blah.
Why is it that you guys over there hate bob so much that your willing to get banned just to say how much you hate them?
I mean all that threadnaught crap about dev's breaking into Pryrex's corp, Sharkbait, and the msn thing etc. You guys are so blinded by your hate that you will stop at nothing to show the world how much ***** is in your mouths.
I agree that killing the titan was an incredible feat but to come in here and smack in Molle's post about it shows poor taste and complete immaturity. You continue to call them cheats while every audit showes that no cheating happened except for the t20 thing which had absolutly nothing to do with you and only effected a couple people.
Why not enjoy your accomplishments and play the game?
I hate the goons but I hate them for the reasons I have described, the real tangible reasons, not the reasons that are fabricated on scrapeheap.
Anyway again good job, I can't wait to see the monument, you guys earned it.

1. CYVOK attacked and killed Slender Breanda with a doomsday then he logged off before agression timer ran out. There was no "Shooting of a Wreck" to keep him aggro, and quite frankly, if this was the case, he would have had his titan reimbursed. Actually, the wreck bug did not exist back then so thats your argument nulified.
2. Wotakn got microsmartbombed just before he logged, and according to a screenshot, he logged back in as he was getting pounded (he was in local) then logged off again.
Either way, the main issue has been that these players have been almost impossible to kill pre rev II patch because they were almost never on the front lines, and spent most of the time in or around pos's. In both cases, both pilots were shot while logged in, and I could argue that wotaken logged in while being shot, but to be honest, we all know that his titan loss could have been prevented with a bit of security.
What I like about Rev II is that now these ships can be taken down. Now its the real test of balls to see who uses them on the front line given the changes. --

It takes a patch and the creation of a custom object. The ASCN memorial took a few months. -----

i was down there today, no "official" memorial but goons hadn't hesitated to put up their own memorials, i didnt get much time to read what they said though cos my overview rapidly filling up with reds, though i dare say i'n probably lucky i didnt have time to read em.
would be nice to see a permanent memorial there in due course. http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/1226/sigcopylb5.jpg

Titan wrecks, scattered across the universe, is pretty cool. Can we just leave the 'legitimacy' trolling, flame baiting and all that other nonsense out of this thread and just bring a spotlight to the issue?
Having titan wrecks near gates and main celestial objects is an awesome element and one which really allows CCP to push their game as player driven. Where else can you find permanent fixtures of player wars and major conflicts: nowhere (or at least to my knowledge). While this issue seems to be dead, to the extent that titan wrecks take patches to position in-game, I just want to put that out there. It is very cool to see things like this.
I'm quite anticipating the wreck so I can fly a little frigate along the side just to get a real size comparison. Who knows, maybe one of those same newbee's may just decloak one of those behemoth's again and we'll have to go through this all over again!
Serious Question: I was told SirMolle/DigitalCommunist was writing up a BoB battlereport for their side: I'm wondering where I could find that, if it was published yet. Thanks.

Certainly is, although it's not a new thing for Eve - ever since Outposts were made available, large alliances have been leaving their industrial legacies around 0.0 space. Tenerifis for example was a pretty crappy region before its various station deployments. The alliance that put them there is dead, but their work remains. __________

I don't really care either way but one of the cool things about EVE is how the political landscape changes over the years and it would be great if every titan wreck became a fixed item in the system where it was destroyed if only so that in two years you can say, "This is where the battle between X and Y happened." There have been some great epic battles over the years and traces of those would add some added flavour to the barren wasteland that is most of 0.0 space.
