sorry guys I was just ****ed off. and I still am.
to answer a few questions: a) my peitions were full because I had peitioned a ship loss, and I had petioned my whole ordeal with not being able to change billing option to credit card. - which i cancelled (it took over 40 hours and no response btw). So I gotta re-make another petition now to explain the whole thing. VERY VERY ANNOYING. So as you can see it was sorta an odd time because just beofre (as in yesterday) I was all confused about why i couldn't change my billing information!(so i had to make a peition!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)
b and this one goes out to the Dev.) this is not about doing something else. This is about my visa card number. this is about being charged for something that I do not want. I do not want a 30 day re-activation. I want a 6 month activation. tell me, when willu respond to my petition? in 50 hours again? Oh wait, my credit card has already been charged.. so what do I do? do i call visa and refute the charges then? Say no thats not what I wanted, or was scammed into paying for it? Because as far as im concerned I was scammed/tricked into the 30 day.. As far as I knew I was gonna get a drop down box to select the amount of dates. What if it auto charged me for 1 year? Then what? Id have a 150$ bill? then how long would a response take? I mean you got my money right, thats all that matters.
c) Im trusting you guys with my credit card details and my money and the whole thing just seems so shady and not to work properly. honestly, like I said, the one thign that shouldnt be bugged is.
d) I cant talk to another freaking human being. I gotta type it all out. Its very very very annoying to spend time writing this stuff - in petition form. Its actually down right madness.
blahhhakjew;rg thats how mad I am. I mean sure my acount has been extended for 30 days... and now for the re-curring payment 6 months is selected.. I have no problems paying an extra 3$ but at the same time as a paying customer - that is what i am - id like a little more/better working of the payment system.
Yuo guys really gotta get that fixed asap.
as for the cost of running a few customer service reps, its the cost of running a business. Decreased profit margins for happy customers is a good investment dont you think? dont take me wrong everything has gone smothing thus far in my eve career, but still, things like this happen, and it just a bad name.

It's quite easy to fill all your petition slots.
You get a whopping two.
So if you have a vanishing BPO after research delivery, and report an isk selling website's advertisement can you are already full on petition slots.

Hm just happened to me too. No option for billing period, and now I've been charged and account is active, there's still seemingly no way to change the period as far as I can see. Guess I'll petition ;/

But lets get some stuff straight first... You do have about 30d (probably more like 20d) to sort out the billing issue, but even if it took 50 days to sort out, your going to pay less for 2 monthly subs than 1 3 monthly sub.. now before you get all arrrghtastic with me just keep going...
In that 50d time they "should" be able to see your petition, and they "should" be able to manually change the stuff for you.. I dont know if they can give you $$$ back or move the starting date for the next bill (and credit you free days inbetween) but you MUST give them the chance.
Visa and MasterCard rules say you MUST give the company a chance to remedy the situation. If ccp REFUSE to remedy the situation then phone up Visa and have them refund the payment, they'll then take up the problem with CCP.
It's not really rocket science.. Just be glad you can pay by USD, as paying by Euro means you pay for the subscription, tax on your purchase, and then 16% extra to ccp for what they charge to manage the taxes :/.. (I moved to ETC's)..
Anyhow, If you ask, and WAIT for a few days then they should respond, making 200 petitions will **** someone off and likely get a petition removed (and that wont help you if it had something important)

last i checked guys, you can only have 2 petitions. So all this non-sense about having lotsa petitions is really annoying.
I dont even care any more. Honestly its not worth the hastle to write up an explanataion about what has happened. I mean clearly the Dev's know of the problem ( 2 dev posts in this thread).
and like I said what ****es me off is the fact that the payment system is messed up. the one thing that shouldnt be. CCP should remedy this problem, soon.
There have already been multiple posts regarding the very same issue Ive had/expeirenced.
all i got to say is fix it.I dont care, keep the 2$, if it helps u fix the problem then im happy.

I had the same thing but I just took it and paid for one month and set the subscription period to 6 months for the next payment.
Payment date was 6/22/2007 and my VISA account still hasn't been billed. So dno what's going on...
