We will disband this alliance within the next days because of internal problems. Thank you all for the fun we had and remind we will ever see us twice in Eve, next time maybe under a new Banner. We whould like also to thank those which have been shown as real friends in the hard times we had in the recent past. We will never forgett you guys!

I am sorry to see you guys go. I had a lot of fun killing your alliance. It's interesting to see that a lot of people seem to think of you as stand-up fighters, but in all of my contact with your members, which were fights that they lost, we're marred by childish smack talk and cursing.
I have to say I did feel sorry for a few of your players because they bore the brunt of your lack of leadership in resolving this crisis. I had several convos with your alliance members bemoaning the fact you refused to compromise and let the war between your alliance and my corp and REPO continue so they were trying to work out a side deal to help the alliance while you sat around doing very little, mind you that's coming from your alliance members, not my own judgement. Though I did read your response when the surrender talks took place when you were informed that our corps were not even close to ending the war....
[ 2007.06.17 21:03:56 ] Nicodemos > k, keep doing it. Btw - I have better things to do then wasing my time with guys who try to frighten me with something which is a game.
That's not the most diplomatic response when you were down about 5bil in losses at that point and had lost another 5bil that very day due to losing a freighter. I only asked 750mil to end the war. You didn't even acknowledge my email or attempts to convo you. Again, not the most diplomatic approach.
Hopefully in the future you will be more aware of who you recruit into your alliance, and don't assume that 2 small corps can be dispatched with a few 20 man gatecamps. Also practice what you preach in your corp bio's and alliance charter. I mean they read well and good, but when you accept corps like RIMTECH who lie and talk a bunch of crap they can't back up, then it makes you look silly. It makes you look even worse accepting them into the alliance and having your alliance lose 15+bil because of the war.
I wrote up a nice story about it here on Eve-Pirate.com.
I will be posting a follow up story within the next week or so. It's taking a bit because I have to get all of the German hate mail and chat logs translated properly.

Hey Nexa, we had fun fightin you and friends. Thanks for covering part of our story in pirate.com. But I can tell you one thing, GUARD disbanded not because of you guys, not because of lacking ISKs and not because of RIMTech. Btw. keep doing good job ! :)

As for the main text:
Do you really believe this? GUARD lost a complete outpost, some POSses plus the complete 0.0 Space that was owned by the alliance. Not to mention the ships and assets... So do you really think somewhat 15 or 20bill in a empire-war with insured ships and only some equipment lost could really hurt more than this?
But as always - two parties at war - two ways of seeing the 'truth' ;)
And if you need help with translating - convo me or Eve-Mail. I will try to help as good as i can. And if you fear that i will censor some things. I don't fight the war. i never even come close to your corp or REPO - so i try to be as honest as ever. :)

Yes there are two sides to every story, and I'd like to think that Repo and Traps played a part in the end of this alliance. However you look at it, 20 Bil in loses, is still 20 Bil.

Oh, don't get me wrong...
i too think (<- is it allowed to put the words this way?) that the Empirewar with REPO and Traps played a role. But the role isn't that big as the text of Nexa made the audience believe. It was more like poking an already dead corps that just forgot to fall when it died. And yes... 20Bil ist 20Bil... the only difference is in which way you lose it. In other words if you get it back over insurance (ships) or losing it completely (outpost etc.)
A reason why i think that warlosses should not be covered by the insurancesystem. But that is a different thing and don't belong here.

Believe what you want. I like how you make accusations without taking the time to read the story, instead you comment on something you have zero clue about.
People like you are why I am always taking screenshots and video. You discount my word for no reason other than I am on the opposing side. Screenshots, videos and chatlogs don't lie. Sure you can say I doctored them or am using them out of context, but I do have a decent history with my stories posted on Eve-Pirate and you will be hard pressed to find any lies in my stories. So even if you don't like to read, my stories always have plenty of screenies for people like yourself.
Sure there are two sides to every story, and rebuttals are always welcome. Childish insults are not welcome however.
My corp name is pure sarcasm. Again, if you read any of my stories, you would know this. Well anyone with half a sense of humor and a brain would get this just by reading it.
Another poster mentioned this war affected GUARD very little as they lost several POS's and all that jazz. I would beg to differ on the basis that when you have people in your alliance convo'ing me trying to work out an agreement because they're telling me the alliance heads are not doing what's right for the alliance as a whole, I had to agree with them. From what they told me, they were given no thought or say in the matter. Of course they could be lying to play the sympathy card or something, but I took them at face value and didn't get a sense they were blowing smoke up my butt.
These players seemed genuinely concerned with how things were going and wanted very much to keep the alliance and their individual corps together since they enjoyed the German atmosphere and whatnot.
All I said was I am going to miss you, only for a short while as once my current obligations are fulfilled I will be revisiting several of you. I offered some advice which might help in the future. I also pointed out that in most all of the contact I had with your alliance, your losses were taken with a lack of sportsmanship and that I found it odd so many people were thanking you for a smackless war, while our war was the complete opposite in my case.

Well your entitled to your view, but I feel that is a bit disingenuous to what actually happened and certainly these corps were alive and kicking when we started this war.
