Put away the nerf bat CCP. I just logged in to find my favorite mission Raven crippled. I am sick and tired of working for things ...skilling...only to have my setups torn apart at your whim. You want to change things??? then friggin ADD stuff. Something unbalanced? Then invent the cure and ADD it to the market. Ive just about had it...and NO! you cant have my stuff. If someone is inventive enuff to find an advantage in the thousands of combinations of ship setup possibilities then they deserve to reap benefits.

That wouldn't be a problems if the secret to uberness never left them, but secrets always come out. I still have nightmares about the nanoship era.

If Devs actually listen to people like you (you meaning plural, there's bazliions of people like you who do not want to understand that balancing means changing stuff, not automatically adding stuff) we all end up with shuttles with 8/8/8 slots and 5 doomsday devices, 99% resists and unlimited cap.

You were not inventive finding out how to mount cruise missiles on a raven. Any newish player who moved up to caldari battleships could do it. The raven was not the most powerful mission runner in the game due to your "skill" or "inventiveness", it was the most powerful mission runner in the game due to simple mathematics that anyone could do. Also, I find it highly unlikely that you were the first person to go "ooh, this can be the cookie cutter setup" and post it in the ships and modules forum, so chances are you got it from someone else anyhow

Wrong answer there Goj. I enjoy the search for my own setups. Its the many hours work that it takes me that ccp throws away im upset about.

Instead of coming on here throwing your toys out of the pram and threatening to take your ball home, wouldn't it have been better to open a discussion maybe in ships and mods about ways to improve upon whatever they did. To say it is crippled is abit dramatic, i was using mine yesterday and it does the same ****zle

B) once it is the way i like it I park em and move on to the next ship:)

Cruise missile launchers had an extra 3 cpu added to them, iirc, not that up on it, as I don't use missiles. Now instead of using arbalests you have to use malkuths and the sky is falling

Get a grip on reality please!
If your setups are nerfed by CCP, it means they're AGAINST what they intend with the game, and they're correcting that! I.e. they're an unintended exploit!
You're basically saying: "I'm spending hours trying to find new unintended exploits. CCP shouldn't nerf me when I do!"
That's just totally the wrong attitude! If you find an exploit, you report it, not (ab)use it!

@ the op this kind of threads happen after every patch.... every update.
it's always I got X accs and X friends and if you don't change it back I quit. so far ccp haven't changed back anything for them
so if you want to explain why this was a wrong thing from ccp discuss it in the ships and modules forum.
If you post it in general discussion you will only get replies like the most replies in this thread are.

you think most pvp'ers don't spend long time on something and to see it nerfed then. (or a short time if you just copy someone else his setup but own setup > other people there setups imo)
don't wanna sound to unfriendly but you know how many people do missions in a raven..... for how long already. do you really think your setup was original?
I believe you if you say you thaught it out yourself, but do you believe me if I tell you you are far from the only 1 who now need to fit other launchers/use named faction stuff/get a rig/get a implant or something like that?

Im also affected, **** happends move on and adapt whining wont bring back your setup even if you have 10 accounts and 10 friends.

Only the arbalest and XT-whatever launcher got nerfed though; the T2 didn't get its cpu need upped, did it? And the 'nerf' was quite ok as well, since Arbalest never used the least CPU, cept for Cruise.
How about training to T2?

Yep. This wasn't a nerf, it was a bug fix. The values were incorrect for module progression. They fixed that.
To use an expression thrown around often...adapt.

Remember the evil nerf, when people complained that they couldnŠt load their standart lauchers with one cruise missles any more? What could have ben "added" to the game to balance that? Beeing able to fit 2 large neutron cannons on a Atron?

Where else am I supposed to post a grievance? And how is ccp supposed to know if i dont post. And BTW...maxing grid and cpu on ships is not exploitive, its efficient. Logging in to find a worthless fleet sucs!

corp forums so not all of the eve-o forum population hit on you for it (aswell as your audience most likely agree with you easily)
or on feature idea discussion if you have or want to look for a sollution
or ships and modules to discuss how to overcome this heavy fitting loss with your fellow missionraven brothers.
whining happens a lot but the "I have lots of accs and I quit whines mostly have no succes at all and are mostly not taken serious."
and I am a bit jealous on your comp my comp already have problems running 2 accs smoothly
