i would agree but the dam carriers went 4 me and i lost my sleip, had 2 get my carrier with tec2 cargo expanders fitted :/

Oh yeah also, thanks to PA/Praes who brought a support gang down late in the fight to assist with holding the carriers down, much appreciated.
And I don't know how they were fitted, but we fought both long and short range in our sniper BS so..

Well actually I joined tri for more small scale pvp. But this was a hell of a good old school fashioned fleetfight, so who cares. Thanks to FATAL for this hell of a fight. Big ups for bringing your fleet in again and again.

First loss was at 21:58, Last carrier went down at 22:32

One omitted detail is that Praetorium and Phalanx sent out some ships that arrived about the same time our capitals warped in on theirs. No idea on the friendly numbers -- maybe 15? -- but when we were struggling to keep our support numbers up due to carrier officer smartbombs they bolstered that key aspect of the fight.
This fight was epic. There was a very brief fc lvl discussion on whether we were jumping into too many in ya0 punctuated by "Shut up. Jump" Props to all for a very spirited pitched fight. Oh and for me the lag was non-existent. Maybe a second for module and lock activation.

I have to throw in here and say that the whole engagement was one of the funnest fights I've had. My hat goes off to Fallen-Souls for a very hard fought, fight. You guys brought your fleet to do business, and it was an honor to battle you. You guys never gave in and kept shooting to the very end. This was one for the books. Good fight gentlemen.

Gonna reply to this as neutrally as I can...
They seemed to have a fair number of pulse geddons, siege ravens, and dominixeseseses going by their lossmails. So in the initial 2r- engagement they were more effective murdering support than engaging our snipers. I was primary in 2r- for what seemed like ages before I finally had to warp out deep in shields. When we jumped into their reduced numbers in ya0, they were able to kill a few bs, but as we began mwding off the gate and warping back in at 100+ they lost their dps and started taking heavy losses.
