for those of you who have seen/read the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, well im attempting to write one for eve. so far i have 29 entries in three major categories: people, places, everything else. entries so far:
everything else: blob, gate camp, goon swarm, planets, skills,PVP,PVE,ratting
people: basically the four major races and links to the EVE website, the descriptions of the ships, repair systems, and eventually will have entries on the individual sub races... but that ones a little hard to come up with. also have a category in there called everyone else: agents, carebears, BoB, CONCORD, jove, miners(astroid miners, ice miners, macro miners),pirates, traders.
places: asteroid belts, EVE gate, high sec space, low sec space, Jita, minmatar channel, rens, map of the universe, stain (though the stain entry could use some work).
what im trying to do is to remail aloof while not having a bias towards any of the entries. so that way when you read them it doesnt seem..well.. bias. this isnt a newspaper its just something to have around and have fun with. if you want to add some entries EVE mail me or post on here, ill have a look at it and see what i can do. hell at this point ill take almost anything. however it doesnt have to be bust out loud funny or super serious, though there are some serious entries. you can either make it or i can, or ill edit it or ykno ill have a few of the editors (yes i have editors ) look at it ;).
happy flying!

you should get people to write articles on random stuff and pay for them by either selling PDF's or access to a website with the guide on it, set up an alt corp to fund and administrate it, drop me an eve mail, I'd love to help with this one, just the kind of crazy thing I'm into.

Most Deteis would see this a way to gain promotion and would be so busy trying to get to the top of the greasy pole they would happily feed their family to the beast if it meant they could rise in the ranks.
Entry for Jita: Jita has become a major hub for all lifeforms, pleasant and not so pleasant to congregate. In fact it is so crowded that trying to move your arm will immediately result in hundreds of people getting concussion as you hit them. For some reason people think Jita is the place to be. It is not. When you are tired of life visit Jita - you will be ready to die happy then knowing that life can be far worse than anything else you can imagine.

Minmatar: A ragtag group of clans that escaped from the Amarr a while back. Some would argue that it would've been better had they remained the slaves of those that fed and clothed them, but mention this to a Minmatar clansman and your skull will most likely decorate his cabin the same night. The Minmatar are also almost solely responsible for the reinvention of ductape, which has now become the number one item in every Minmatar's emergency repair kit, replacing the more common method of simply using more material while building their ships. Also, never leave a Minmatar alone with a slaver hound, as this might turn out to be a very unfortunate meeting between the two, resulting in a nice barbecue party later that night. --- Hmm, needs some editing here and there, but I think it would do :)

Here's what the Guide has to say about Spirits. The best drink in existance is the Pan-regional Yulai Buster. The effect of a Pan-regional Yulai Buster is like having your brains smashed out by a Concord-agent wielding a Construction block.
The Guide also tells you on which planets the best Pan-regional Yulai Busters are mixed, how much you can expect to pay for one and what volountary organizations exist to help rehabilitate you afterwards.
