Eve involves a lot of jumping and I've learned to deal with it. So when I was faced with a 27 jump route to a new homestead, I thought "no problem." I checked the route- looked good to me. My sec status was -2.4 so that meant no 1.0, and I saw no 1.0. Mind-numbingly tired and bored, I paid most of my attention to the conversation I was having with a friend. Of course I was surprised when I looked up and saw myself being CONCORDed. Turns out that first system that didn't display in the map route was a 1.0. Woops. It wouldn't have been too big a deal had this not been a home station move- I was out more money than I really would have liked. But I am still dumbfounded by what happened. CONCORD? For entering high sec?
Didn't I read a dev blog about fleet warfare saying that you don't mind being obliterated when called primary, you just wanted to have two seconds to say "oh ****" before it actually happened? Well that's what I'm asking for. I made a dumb mistake and as a result I got CONCORDed in 2 seconds without even the slightest opportunity to warp off or run back to the gate. If fleet pilots get a chance, can I?
When I first jumped to low sec, it warned me: this is extremely dangerous. Extremely dangerous? I've lived there for 6 months and I never once lost a ship that I didn't take aggressively into combat. And yet there is no warning whatsoever for a low security pilot that is jumping into a system which is guaranteed, non-negotiable obliteration. Is this your idea of fair?

What about the player that made mistake by going into low sec and as a result got ganked in 2 seconds without even the slightest opportunity to warp off or run back to the gate. If they didnt have a chance, why should you?
What comes around goes around. If you can't do the time don't do the crime.

Low sec warning isn't triggered when your autopiloting.

Lol. Who even USES autopilot these days? Even in Empire!?!
Pretty much boils down to... If you're lazy OR dumb OR uninformed OR don't take the time to make yourself informed... you'll probably be disappointed with your outcome. ------------------------------------------------ Anyone got a good compression tool for EVE sigs? |

Then wtf you doing here bro. Petition it.
However, MY GUESS is that you didn't wait for your 15 minute global countdown to expire and jumped into highsec. Or.... were you being a good ol' boy for those 15 minutes prior? If so, petition it and you'll have your ship back.
P.S. Find the logs from the fight, lets see who was hitting you. ------------------------------------------------ Anyone got a good compression tool for EVE sigs? |

correct u cant be -1 or below and enter a 1.0 system.
but i think op has a piont those who enter low sec know the risk, either by that msg that pops up or form knowledge that there is pirates around. so why dont pirates wich is part of the game get a waring if they choose to click the button that says dont show msg again its there own fault but they should atleast get a warning.

You get CONCORD for bad/low sec status.
You get Navy for bad/low faction standing.
Don't go to high-sec with a low sec status. You will be CONCORDED. This is why bad sec status pilots go to empire in their pod, because CONCORD can't pod them.

No-
I have gone to high sec with low sec status before. I never got CONCORD, only Navy (piddly and easy to run past- I've seen plenty of low security status guys do it). In fact, with -10 you can easily run all the way to Jita and back with an interceptor because Navy is slow to lock and scramble.

WRONG.
CONCORD NEVER attacks you for low sec status. The NPC Navy does.
Something messed up is my best guess if you haven't attacked anyone for days as you state. Petition so they can figure out what happened and hope they can prevent it from happening again. ---

Yeah. Judging by those damage logs, those arent the uber concord that comes down on you. 33 damage? hah. CONCORD usually does insano damage.

So wait, there just so happens to be one particular system that absolutely no outlaw can travel into for any reason because CONCORD is sovereign there? Except rather than having regular Navy vessels, they STILL have the ultra-elite CONCORD vessels that insta-lock and super-scramble? Please note I was instantly scrambled and I did have warp core stabilizers on. So what part of this is fair? This system is just an exception in thousands of systems?

Yes, but in this magical CONCORD space, you just evaporate for jumping in.
I didn't even know there was such a thing as CONCORD sov space, let alone CONCORD replacing navy in it- I thought CONCORD was an agreement between the four empires! Shouldn't the navy still be empire ships and not CONCORD?!

Arn't there some constellations that have CONCORD as the sov holder? Maybe you flew through one of them? Also, I think the damage is way too low to be the "normal" concord that everyone fears.

The damage really wasn't a problem so much as the fact that I got locked instantly like a CONCORDUKKEN and ultra-scrambled like a CONCORDUKKEN. The eight sentry guns did the bulk of the damage. Any other Navy vessel wouldn't have been halfway through locking by the time I was warping out. Any other Navy vessel my stabs would have compensated for.

I have never had the honour of meeting a CONCORD spawn, but I assume if the ship types that spawn are the same as the ones you ran into at the gate, then their abilites are probably the same (except for the damage output). Petition it for a laugh and see what they say.

You were jumping into a 1.0, the highest security. Which will have the buffest faction cops and most powerful sentrys. They also recently fixed/buffed Faction Navys because of the activities of a certain corp mate of mine... basically it use to be possible for an outlaw to jump into hi-sec, beat up the cops and then fly around as he wished. You could do it all the way up to 1.0 . CCP felt they needed to stop that. This is their solution.
Great isn't it? ----
