Here is one Dev Blog with some information on life at CCP.
Crunch times can mean long hours, but the environment is very friendly and fun. Interviews tend to be casual and low-stress. The cafeteria is excellent, especially if you like fish and/or lamb. Expectations? A productive 40 hour work-week, although with the office environment that is not hard to meet.

I might come work for ccp some day if they let me. Then I will be posting with yellow bars perhaps... mwa-ha-ha... can you imagine General Discussion full of yellow bars, with people clicking on each one of them to see if something important has been said, and then its only me? Yeah baby!

Either way it's unsettling. I know we have had the "jenny" thread in the past, so I'll make this short, it's like jenny had a lobotomy, and has to take large amounts of "happy pills (read: anti-phycotics). It's just not right damnit..... not right....

and just so we're on topic. I'd imagine working at CCP to be like any other small, albeit sucessful , corporation... you hate everybody until happy hour.. then everyone is your buddy and that girl in accounting starts to look really cute. rinse repeat.

unless you have previous experience with another game developer your going to have to do something special to get ccp's attention. However I believe CCP run an internship/work experience program.
is that correct?

Who is more employable or has a better chance?
The one with previous experience with another game developer or someone with other related experience but resourceful for general problem solving skills looking for something new?
It is not like there is lag problem to solve every day for the next 10 years.

It sounds like a pretty ideal place to work - perhaps its something I should look into to jump from my mundane day-to-day programming and databases job to my childhood dream and passion of game design and implementation.
