 IMO The best caldari pvp ship I have flown is the Rokh, it has a heavy tank, and with 4xHeavy Nos and 4x Neutron Blater II's it can pack a punch while draining a tank
I can't fly a nighthawk but they look pretty mean pvp boats (I mainly do small or solo pvp btw) and was wondering what other peoples opinions on the matter of the best caldari pvp ship

I'd say the crow, just because it is probably the best ship in it's role... however it doesn't come cheap for its longevity

Well the Crow is at least best or nearly best in class. That is not nearly true of the Rokh. I don't think Caldari is tops in any other class of ship...maybe the Phoenix?

Yes its good and I hadn't thought of it but still not best in class considering the Curse. It is one of the better Caldari PVP ships though.

Crow's an example of a ship, that's better at it's thing (Orbit at >10km, fast, and do a little damage, and tackle
) than other ships of it's class.
Most caldari ships, however have good range (which is nice, but ... only if they're in tackle range already) and good shield tanks (also nice, but only if you don't need a MWD/Web/Scram/cap booster).
In return for being slow and having poor damage (even if you _do_ fill your lows with damage mods)

It takes a lot of skill and/or luck to make it work, but a beagle (blaster eagle) can be quite effective. Produces substantial dps, resist bonus on top of HAC resists allow you to free up some slots for tackle. Only real problem being you can only fit an afterburner not a MWD, so you rely on landing near someone to put them down. As a solo tool that's not a crow, it's reasonable.

I think some people are misreading the post, especially those that say there are no caldari pvp ships
I am not asking which are the best IN COMPARISON TO EVERYHITNG ELSE
I am asking which is the best CALDARI PVP SHIP (ie if all of the non-capital cladari ships were to have consecutive 1 vs 1 matches who would win overall?) or something on the lines of that

Blackbird has great survivability in solo PvP. If you are looking for a cheap ship to travel around lowsec without being caught, that's a good start!

Yeah it can do that, but its sub par at doing so. I'd much rather have a mymridon running an armor tank and ewar with some 250mm rails then a raven doing this. Oh don't forget myrm will out damage raven with said setups too.

I reckon the scorpion, crow, caracal are the best solo pvp ships for caldari. My reason for this are you can fit tackle gear on them whilst keeping a tank of some sort, they are relatively cheap.
As for the best pvp ship, I'd have to say its between, raven or nighthawk. With my raven i can fit a pretty decent tank and do enough dps to kill another BS without too much difficulty. The nighthawk is a mean ship, very tough tank and a serious amount of dps (Cerberus on steroids). But as most caldari ships go, they require to be in a gang to be effective because fitting tackle gear will cripple your shield tank in most cases.
