ok so i just looked at the cartel killboard and i dont see a lose in the past 2 or 3 days from commander nikolas, so what accout were you on, idimmu69 or another account you share. just wondering since you said you lost a ship to but yet its not on your board or theres.

We must be haxing really indiscrimately because I was desynced last time I was in a fleet fight. That's how uber we are, we like to fight without having control of our ships. Infact darth orders us to play with our feet, while blind folded.
Maybe Celes are so uber now that the servers just can't handle our uberness?

2)i de-synched again
3)some guy at the camp was collecting the corpses at the gate... or was in a hurse(btw i have a kestrel that i use a hurse so shutup)
4)it must have been a hax-sploit
and quite frankly... if its a module or corpses that create this de-synch... dont you think the other side would have been affected as well?

In all seriousness though, to the OP. CCP decide to desynch your gang and not theirs, and distinguish between the two opposing sides by a bit of clever coding introduced in Rev2.
Essentially when you sit in front of your monitor (CRT or TFT) the electrical field used to power it is affected by a number of factors. None of these short of a magnet very close to the screen (try putting a speaker on the glass) will affect the actual image you see. However feedback from these will affect the reflected signal the monitor receives. It's not set up to read this signal, but because the whole thing forms an electrical current, and the frequency of the fluctuations is far removed from the frequencies used to give the signal it's possible for your graphics card to look at the data from this feedback. One of the things that affects it is human brain patterns. When these are "reflected" (reflected isn't exactly correct, but it works for this explanation) it can determine some aspects. It's not able to do complicated things, but it can tell a few basic factors. One way to prevent this is to insulate your head.

the only exploit here is people trying to justify there reinbursment by spewing rubbish i have been on m-o gate camps there are always corpses on that gate check the killboards.
i suggest you stay in empire if you cant take losing a ship.

if someone is actually trying to spot the reason for the de-sync errors dont flame him dead, even thou pointing with the big exploit stick is quite harsh. but still: guess that the response to this thread is the new nothern hype of 2007.

Yee be warned... watch out for the Ghost Crew.
Funny that though I was on vent at the time listening to our gang, *****ing target calling and a great victory, although there were shouts of 'bloody laggy pile o sh..' after.
The ghost ships even managed to grab all the loot from the battlefield.

Well i have no idea wtf de synch is, but we just heard there were some evil people camping m-0 and jumped in and fired.
It was a new sort of lagg, it was like my screen froze on jumpin, the overview stayed the same, i didnt move. Only thing i could do was target and activate my modules, i got hit msg's but the targets didnt show as taking damages. Had to relog after the fight so that i could see myself moving again.

huh?, i listened to the fight on vent.. celes apoc were in taisy moving stuff, our razor friends were camping in m-o.
the boys heard that a gang was on otherside taking fire, they jumped in with sum bs and killed u.. they deffo didnt have corpses in the ships and im sure u didnt kill any celes apoc as we have no loses on our killboard, unless its a new guy that dont have access yet.
so next time u think the boys have been exploiting ask first. never say we cheat because that hurts my feelings.

Did you still have Empire war / low sec overview settings with war targets and low standings showing but neutrals removed? That could be your problem. And your overview could have been bugged, my corpmates have recently been saying that not all targets load on overview, and the ones missing tend to be the same for everyone. Refreshing overview doesn't seem to help with that one.
Anyway, what about zooming out your camera for a better view of the battlefield?
Either way, you should have put it down to a glitch in private, I think.
