So basically what you're saying is, because we're mercenaries and supposed to be politcally neutral, we're not allowed to retaliate to the many unprovoked attacks on MC assets by IAC?
Or did you really believe that coming into our space and attacking one of our POS was going to go unpunished?
YAY that worked :p

As has been stated, you boys came into our space a week or so ago and now we've repaid the favor. Getting paid for it was just a bonus.
As for the rest of this thread, yeah... fleet PvP is crap atm. I wanted to jump the moms into the mess last night but with all of the DIE-synchs going on?

Third time is the charm!
Is that more lame justification I smell? Oh wait its just more bull****, nevermind.
So other than the "unpovoked attacks" on your constantly invading fleets (how dare we defend our territory!!!), and a POS in Period Basis killed by AAA/RA. What exactly were you referring to there?

When was the last time you had an MC fleet roll in or even a gank squad in IAC/AAA space before this egg was left in the open? Our ROE is unless its a contract target we do not go into their space and work under NBSI only in MC space. I am sure if there is a time a gank fleet went though IAC space get Tyrax or someone in you HC to contact Sel and if were not on contract they are in crap.

There are a lot of entities that MC visited uninvited. MC is open game for anyone, anytime, anywhere and anyway.
I am sure you do not mind.
And to me, any former MC members now in other corps are as well, even if they happen to become member in an alliance I am in. Once MC = permared.

Seleene....You came back to IAC to fail again??!!! I pray that some old mates in Firma/Dkod in AAA now rally AAA and wipe the floor with you...FOR A THIRD TIME!!!! Let's see if you get scared this time when it comes down to it and IAC ask AAA for help. Maybe RA and Goonies will help as well as IAC has helped them in the past.
I always said the IAC territory will be the turning point of the war when it started. It's the connection between RAGoons and BoB. RaGoons would be crazy to not help defend. If BoB/MC truly invade IAC...could be the turning point. I hope AAA come up and park another 60 BS's and wait for your lovely Nyx and to watch it go Pop would be even better. Not that I'm biased in the war....lol. So Fix about to crumble higher MC....that proves IAC is better then FIX. I always looked at FIX as an equal to IAC. To bad....maybe FIX and IAC shouldn't join up like I stated in another post....lol.

Your logic here is somewhat flawed considering that FIX is nowhere near crumbling, MC haven't set a foot inside Querious to help our conflict against IAC and their allies and yet our efficiency is much higher, we've killed more hostile towers than we've lost friendlies.
You can't judge who's better between IAC and FIX when it's actually IAC, AAA, BoS and Mass attacking FIX at once and our efficiency is STILL higher.

FIX 52 week graph from IAC KB. Red = Losses, green = kills. You guys are actually showing slightly negative efficiency from our point of view.

Edited by: Chirinako on 16/07/2007 00:39:28 I'm talking about since this recent little bout of hostilities started during may when IAC began raiding us. Our KB has a campaign from in Querious and Catch (involving not just IAC but every hostile entity that has entered querious meaning AAA+BOS+MASS since then) and we're running at 53.31% efficiency for the last 57 days.

BAH! Kill/death ratio crap if for other threads and other wars. Lets keep this one fun, and lets keep our comments about it in the thread made for it. This is for MC/Outbread vs IAC. We can always bump up the one that was made for our conflict. Or even better...keep in in space.

The smack in this thread is terribly bush league tbh.
I blame Man-Yi and a crappy laptop for not being there myself, but even knowing the outcome, I would gladly have been there in a T2 fitted battleship.
As for the bickering of value lost by either side, while it is true that we lost quite a few ships, there is more at play than pure ISK value. Some have already brought the various aspects of this up, so I won't drag it out further.
Also, as a side note, there are a couple members of IAC who have begun to perpetually embarrass their alliance with their half-cocked smack and general forum shenanigans, mostly involving an irrational hatred of us. We know where we stand and what we are. Enough people agree with us to keep us steadily supplied with mercenary work. The fact that you refuse to acknowledge our status as mercenaries only hurts you down the road. Ask around. We're useful in a pinch. Until then, have fun chewing those sour grapes.

You heard him IAC, if you keep this up the coalition will never be able to hire MC against BoB! What a valid threat!

As far as I understood, MC was taking a carebear break after completing their northern campaign, and as mercenaries just attacking an alliance(potential customer etc.) doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
In case I missed an announcement, could anyone link it?

QFT.
IAC STFU and get back to the business at hand. The rest of you can consider this an official apology for the smack in this thread, and an official appeal to CCP to fix this game before it fails completely.

So whats with all the smackin, chest beating and number crunching justification?
At the end of the day, IAC screwed up (be it bug or whatever), MC+0utbreak capitilized on the opportunity contract or not and I went to bed expecting absolutely nothing otherwise.
I'll speak on behalf of IAC and congratulate them for the destruction and also thanks our allies in AAA for the assistance in attempting to defend it.
MC knows, as I hope Outbreak does IAC appreciate you as skilled enemies and I know our pilots cherish every kill we get on ya! :).
Anything else ... is just rabble.

FIX 52 week graph from IAC KB. Red = Losses, green = kills. You guys are actually showing slightly negative efficiency from our point of view.
Such graphs are never accurate because that is showing all your kills (even those that were final-blowed by BoS/etc), but only IAC losses.
That's why killboards in multi-alliance wars are inaccurate: they show all kills but not all losses, since losses are shared among multiple alliances.
I'd say the FIX killboard would be more accurate (though not 100%) in that sense, as FIX has fewer allies sharing the losses.
This is also why killboard-epeen-waving is bad; its not only bad from a civility sense but inaccurate anyways.
