You DO NOT want a nice first car.
It does not matter what the car looks like, the chance of you crashing it is so high that it's very stupid IMO to buy a nice or a brand new car.
Buy a piece of of junk (like a 1993 crown vic...  ), drive it for a few years, then get something nicer.
My first car and current car is a 1993 Taurus SHO. 220HP yamaha engine, looks like grandma's grocery getter until you zip pass a riced up honda that doesnt have a chance, I even spanked a brand new 300HP benz once (well... only cause he weighed another 1000 pounds)
Needless to say, his girlfriend was giving him funny looks when I looked in my rear view mirror when I had to stop and he was right on my tail, he was unable to pass me on a 1 mile strech. He was catching up but there was not enough room to pass, and I got a headstart cause I was much lighter.
Getting beat by a 4 door family sedan is about as bad as getting beat by a minivan, if I ever have more money than brains I'm gonna get a minivan and stick a 400hp V8 in it and go make people look bad.

anyways. My first (and still only) is a 2000 taurus. SHO package. leather interior. v8.

Im going to call bs on that. There is no 2000 Taurus SHO. They stopped producing in 1999.
SHO = Sh!t Happens Often.

And that's the cheapest and fastest way to disqualify her from being a potential mate. I like to think of it as a gold digger radar.
My car is no banger. It will pretty much slaughter the average kids first car and even some new and even expensive cars, it does look a little old though and the body isnt exactly perfect. It even has the 4/60 AC system. (4 windows down/60 mph)
But thats what makes it that much more fun, beating the idiot with the 5 foot spoiler and fart cannon exhaust with a OLD BEAT UP TAURUS.
As long as I don't do dates at mid noon though I should be okay
