Commander Krispy	Posted - 2007.07.17 17:23:00 - [1] I am no finacial wizzard, but I can see when financial disaster is on the horizon. This is only a theory, just my opinion, but, does this make sense to you? This fine game is infested with isk sellers that spam local chat channels and eve mail with their offers to sell ISK for low low low prices. Asians are great at undercutting each other. But it has gotten to the point now where it is actually cheaper to buy ISK from a seller, buy time codes, and have change left over for Quafe, Exotic Dancers and a big bag of Mind Flood. Here is some simple math that the bean counters at Master Control must have missed. Credit card payments cost me 15 bucks per month, Eve time codes are 150 mill isk per month +/- 1 billion ISK is 50ish bucks. so if I was a bit more frugal, it would be cheaper for me to buy 1 billion isk which I could then use to buy 6 ETC's and have 100 mill left over and I have saved about 40 bucks to put towards my next billion isk. This is just wrong. Now we all know that over 1/4 of eve accts are farmers, maybe even as high as 1/3 if my numbers are close. We have to acept that isk sellers use ETC's to pay for their accts because the ETC's are in a perverted way, "FREE", and dont dent the real world profits. Oh, you question my numbers, hum, fly around with me for 5 hours, no, 2 hours and i will show you that there are systems with 16 belts and 16 farmers and the same thing in the next system. This is no joke, it is sick and the CCP GM's choose to do nothing to stop it. It seems that the GM's are more concerned with the possibility that they might suspend an acct that has done no wrong, which is a correctable event, rather than protect the game and the time and real money that we have invested into creating our characters. I expect that three things might happen now. The first thing that comes to mind is to scrap the ETC system and all accts will have to be paid for with R/L cash which will sustain the game. Second, I will have my acct banned for suggesting such nonsence, Third, there will be an increse in ISK farmer activity as the news of this post reach's the mass's who all run out to buy ISK and save 50% on the cost of month to month play, maybe even more if they enter the 5 digit special code that gets them 10% more isk. Bottom line, the isk sellers are making the real world money that is suposed to go to ccp. If ccp doesnt make money they will go off line, forever, your character is gone, you dont know what to do, you sit and stare at your monitor for a week until you accept the fact that you need to go pee. To close, if I do get banned I left all my stuff in a secure container beside a moon in Jita, just use the special offer secret code to open the can. CCP this line is for you. Fix the Freaking Problem before the problem wrecks you. I can't believe that you have let this infestation go unchecked for so long. It is the worst case of mis managment and spineless indecision that I have had the dis pleasure to witness. Commander Krispy out.............................

That means that nobody is paying CCP ISK for ETC, the players are paying CCP real money (you know dollars and euros) for them and then recieving ISK. That is the legal way of selling ISK...

CCP... buying time cards with ISK doesn't hurt CCP, you just are giving ISK to someone else who gave their money to CCP. No... the bigger threat is desynch issues scaring players away... I'll weather this storm, and so will many others... Money going to CCP is always the same ammount of game time given out by credit card/paypal and gamtime card income. More macroers = more accounts = more money to CCP End of discussion

Ok there are isk farmers, but there are also people that mine in this game to sell on the markets.. Look in Jita.. where the hell does all those millions of trit come from.. Trit fairies??? So you think that these isk farmers will kill of CCP.. Game Time Cards. cost 150-200mils isk. The person that wants to sell the GTC has to pay RL cash for them at some point. The code used to give you your 30days/60 days what ever comes from CCP does it not?? So are not CCP getting your monthly subscritption in one form or another Directly from a player or via a GTC seller. What isk farmers are doing is allowing other to do jack all in the game to make isk, just because that have some RL cash floating about. If you or your corp or alliance wanted a MS or a Titan. Then you would have to work dam hard for it for a while to get the isk.. If you where the sort of person that had spare RL money you could just buy the ISK and have your ship with in days and with no effort involved. If you see Isk farmers. report them, blow them up or what ever...
