Alright guys I'm sorry the startup appears to have failed, waiting for why and when it will be up. |

I think that when the CCP guys go looking for their paychecks they, too, should get the message "Status: Unknown"

Did not get booted but I realized something was bonked when info windows just got stuck and no info in the window.
So I just logged off.
I bet some data thing got fulled up and overloaded.
It is probably some memory issue.

Pitiful - Noob stfu if you are annoyed by this then you are a noob as this is the norm.
Not a noob, dood. I'm a programmer and I know this is crappy programming. Anywhere outside the game business it would probably get them all fired. I know it would in the industries where I have worked. And it just goes on, and on, and on, repeating and repeating and repeating. A sign of intelligence is not necessarily to be perfect but to learn from one's mistakes and not repeat them.

I think the people here should try to be the ops team on a patch day.
Also, 10 minutes is not a bad start up.Think of how long it would take to load all of eve, its databases, etc.. all at the same time on your system.
Oh an just a quick note, your sub rate only costs a tiny bit more then 2 cents an hour. thats pretty cheap server support!

Someone was watching the new EVETV in the server room and the hamsters committed suicide.
Never fear, Oveur is enroute via helicopter cradling their replacement. His pot-belly pig "Biff". ETA: Unknown.
We had our words, a common spat. So I kissed him upside the cranium with an aluminum baseball bat. My name is Mud. |

it would be so easy... just a one, single, skill queue... and this thread would still be on page 2... and those on the other side of the earth could happily go to bed...
ps: add your own line on how a single skill queue would help on this situation

im a drunk redkneck, and i know beer drinking. anywhere outside the game buisness it would probably not be ok to drink while programming a game. i know it would be ok while fishing or burning **** like i have. they keep on drinking and drinking while working. a sign of drunkeness is making a game that doesnt work. learn from ones mistakes and stop spilling beer on the server.

Im probably not the only one here that thinks that setting any queue takes away from the fact that their character is learning w/o you telling them to learn. Example before bed last night I just learned how to pee standing up. now because the skill is in queue i can learn to wipe my buttocks while im sleeping?.....tomorrow morning im set to jet.
Note: thats the worst analogy ever..im sorry how about just saying 'i disagree'.
