So ya - another whine thread. But seriously - if CCP screwed up, why is it always their paying customers that have to suffer the consequences? I lost a lot of skillpoints with the server being down last night, but on top of that, I had a training schedule planned so that I could change skills when I had free time. That's gone to hell now too.
So CCP - do we get our skillpoints back for your screw up? I would assume not because it's 'too much work'.

...which is exactly one of the the reasons i PAY to play this game - because I don't have time to kill rodents in order to level. The fact that this game is different is not an argument. I know it's different. It's why I pay to play this game and no other. The fact is, CCP screwed up, and we are always paying the consequences, and I'm getting sick of it. A reimbursement team would go a long way towards customer satisfaction, CCP.

Edited by: FuQue on 18/07/2007 17:05:29 Add up all the hours over the years of CCP's screw-ups and come back to me with a real argument.
If I'm not mistaken (and I could be) The downtime for the patch started at 9:00GMT, ending at 12:00 GMT. That equates to 2:00 PST and 5:00 PST respectively (minus 7hours).
The server was still having issues at 12:00 PST. I had a skill finish around 10:45PST. If 7 hours isn't enough time after a patch to have a skill finish training, I don't know what is.
All you people that say it's "my fault" and such - do you really believe that? Honestly - if a mechanic took 7 more hours to finish your car than expected - you'd be hugely inconvenienced. if they also CHARGED you for it, you'd be ****ed off. I am only expressing my dissatisfaction with the company due to their blatant lack of respect for their paying clients. If everyone just rolls over and ignores it, they'll continue. Thanks for listening.
PS - I'm not asking for money back you morons.

Are you all paid by CCP or something? 'cause usually when a company screws up, their clients get reimbursed for their incompetence. I guess MMO's are full of fan boys just waiting to defend their favorite little company no matter what it does...

and quit going back to the money! That's NOT what I'm concerned about - which I've stated already. Stick to the topic you morons.

The only one with a lack of respect around here is you, Sir.
Good thing I'm not getting paid by you then. And I lost more than two hours... I had to go to sleep so I lost a whole night's worth. Yayay say what you will, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm not a happy player at the moment. As soon as another company comes out with a half decent space MMO, I'll be leaving so you can all go back to your caves, worshipping the great god that is CCP.

This... right here.. says a lot. I'm supposed to quake in my boots when Dev posts in my thread? I don't care if a dev posts in my thread. It doesn't make me feel "special" or something. What - now I'm supposed to quietly slink away and think all is good because I got a canned response?
Mmk fanboy. Keep on keepin' on i guess.. Devs, you can lock this thread. It is served it's purpose. You are more aware now that players are not pleased with the way you patch without testing than you were before. Thank you.
