Which will probably be the same in every train station in the UK now, as well as airports I guess. Terrorism forces the Government to use see through polythene bags... --------------------------------

England, Scotland, Wales and Eire are countries while Northern Island is in a political limbo. Great Britain is like an alliance of all the countries and UK is like a bigger alliance of all the countries plus Northern Ireland.
Both Eire and Northern Ireland people are called Irish. Leprochon stories come from there. Scotland are the ones on the movie Braveheart, they also are the ones with quilts. News about royalty people, princesses and stuff come from Wales. And England is the one with the funny accent (according to Americans) and good comedies that tried to WTFPWN everyone. But they now all get along, even the ones in the political limbo.
Did I got it right?
Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong
England, Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland are technically classed as "States" in the United Kingdom, however they are actually Countries, with limited home rule.
N.Ireland and Scotland are the only 2 "states" that have some form of home rule. In N.Ireland, they have the N.Ireland Assembly. In Scotland, we have the Scottish Parliment. As for England and Wales, they are ruled by Westminster, although I believe Wales has its own Assembly, but doesn't have as much power as N.Irelands and Scotlands.
Braveheart was actually filmed in Ireland and is filled with many historical inaccuracies. One major one is "The battle of Stirling bridge", where was the bridge? Robroy was filmed in Scotland, and in my home county of Perthshire! Also its Kilts
As for the rest... I rarely go into England, not unless its to steal their telegraph poles --------------------------------

Well guessing that your american with the words "soccer", I would like to inform you that N.Ireland is a peaceful place now and that your reference to the middle east is somewhat disillusioned. Also "Scott" might let to get drunk, but there are millions of "Scott's" in the world, however if your referring to the "Scottish people", it's Scots
