started about 2300 eve time, fix pos was coming out of reinforced mode. fix was heavily outnumbered but still fought bravely , desperatly trying to defend pos pos was destroyed around half past one.
Local was around 200 all the time and lag wasnt too bad
fun fighting ya fix
respect for bringing it fix, outnumbered
Great Report!
How many BOB fleets engaged you in support of their FIX brothers?
BOB are not even remotely close to lending aid. They have not taken a single system since the titan nerf, they have lost Omist, and Tenerifs will fall shortly. BOB can't handle their own front, much less FIXs front, or any other pet.

Incase you didn't notice, the vast majority of bob has been getting wrecked in a field in Denmark for a week.
So while you sit and gloat on COAD, you and your alliance have actually missed the biggest chance you'll get to y'know, take back some space?
Instead you've managed to sit around and achieve nothing while the cat was away.

What? We thought BOB was busy with you in Querious? They're not in Tenerifis nor Omist, well at least no fleets to speak of, but RISE is there and they bring it ample.
RISE turned out to be a pleaseant suprise. They actively seek a good fight and also prepare nasty ambushes when you least expect it.
Unlike BOB, they don't run when outnumbered either.

Erm.. ok. If you say so. Sounds logical to me.
Fix = 1200 members vs IAC (2400) + AAA (1200) + Brotherhood of Steel (300) + Assorted part-time support = 4000-4500 members
Hmmm 1200 vs 4000.. seems only logical that Fix would outnumber every time we fight.. /me furrows brow.. or not. As for running away :), welcome to eve-online, we are Fix aka Firmus Ixion, ask around about us, we're well known for putting our tail between our legs and running for the hills.. /sarcasm off.
49u Reality check: One POS saved, One POS lost. Kill/Death Ratio for us was around 50/50. At the peak of the battle local topped out at around 210, 60 of those were Fix, 130-140 Hostile. The fight goes on and will for a long long time. You've taken an inch in your first mile, prepare for a marathon.

Dude, your leaders have chosen the allies you now have, or don't ^^
This is just a foul excuse. Get better allies and fire your leadership or go out and bring it again and again.
I would chose the 2nd option.

I think you're missing the point. Who is making excuses and what about? Why would be making excuses about holding our own while heavily outnumbered? I'm merely correcting someone who needed a reailty check. I think you need to read the thread again.

You say this with sarcasm yet it's true. Not once did you actually engage any forces on the PoS's. You'd warp in at 200-250km and then when anything got within 100km you'd all warp out. I know a few times a couple of your ships died cause they weren't fast enough. Any time a ceptor would get close you'd lock him down with your huggins and the second anything started warping toward you you'd gang warp out.
I lost my crow trying to get close enough. I was within 40km then the huggin slowed me down enough for the 100 missles following me to kill me. It seemed you guys were out before I even got done loading into my pod. Then I jumped into my rokh and killed a tempest, fair trade tbh =).
I honestly don't care what anyone says, you guys run from nearly any fight before it even begins, and you end up losing more because of stragglers you leave behind in your haste to gtfo.

It's called hit-and-run. It's what you do when your outnumbered 3-1. Welcome to the world of strategy and tactics. Full frontall assaults dont go down well when you're playing David, not Goliath.

When -A- wasn't there the numbers were pretty even, and you ended up losing more in your little "hit and run" tactics anyway. Sorry man but killing a ceptor each time you warped in while losing a BS isn't very good "hit and run" tactics.
What exactly did you plan on "hit and running" 250km away?

Well, I can only speak for the time that I spent in 49-u yesterday. I was only there for the rescue of the first POS, a good couple of hours at least. IAC and BOS numbered around 70-80 at that time, with 40 FIX in gang, and not all of us in the system. We performed hit-and-run against the hostile fleets assaulting our POSes, and during the time I was present, we did fairly well, killing more than we lost. We almost got Thyrax's Imperial Armageddon, so after warping out, he headed out of the system and changed it to a normal Armageddon instead.
During the last week of fighting, not once has FIX outnumbered their opponent, and we are constantly dealing with 2-3 times our numbers, and in different systems. We lose some POSes here and there, but we manage to save equally many, and while doing so, taking down a fair few enemies.
Good fight IAC and -A-. You continue to bring it, and so shall we.
*Disclaimer* This is not an official FIX post, just the thoughts of a simple grunt.
