Thanks for killing my aggroed, logged off vaga and giving me a lesson. I realised it had aggro while making some coffee and managed to save my pod just before you were locking it :)
It's good to see that you fight when you are heavily outnumbered. Until next time...fly safe! |

1 Thing that people seem to not mention is the fact that the main objective of the day was to get the cyno inhibitor knocked into a stupor, which we did and then continued to pop remote repping cruisers, drones and anything else sticking the nose out of the pos shields.
The Fleet actually formed around 13.00 EVE time with 30-35 man for breaking up the FIX gatecamp on the gate to 4-0, but they warped out just before we jumped in, one thing I gotta give ya, you got alot of spies :)
Then the gang proceeded to harrass FIX POS's, the cyno inhibitor, random bouts with FIX's opposing snipergang, even station services when we got bored for the next 9 or so hours.
We suffered some losses, FIX suffered some losses.
But knowing that the damage we inflicted to various POS defense guns, warp disruptors, web batteries, more guns and the opposing fleet, I would consider it an overall win.
Around 16-20 (was too busy looking at the clock much) we got the cyno inhibitor down and that was the first objective of the day, we celebrated by knocking some domination POS modules into unconsciousness.
Then we started grabbing some more people from the home front, who had been busy making our victory feast for when we returned :)
AAA et al started popping in and the gang swelled to 83, which was the highest it reached that day :)
00.30 We got a POS knocked down and I think we got the guns of one of the others? Not sure, at this point I personally was beginning to be a bit fatigued.
All in All a good fight and much respect to FIX for keeping up defenses, although we would've liked some more heads-on collisions with your snipers .)
1 Thing that warmed my old Abyssal heart was seeing how IAC kept numbers up for more than 12 hours straight, GJ guys and GJ to our friends who came in and delivered the final kick in the groin.

Erm.. ok. If you say so. Sounds logical to me.
Fix = 1200 members vs IAC (2400) + AAA (1200) + Brotherhood of Steel (300) + Assorted part-time support = 4000-4500 members
Hmmm 1200 vs 4000.. seems only logical that Fix would outnumber every time we fight.. /me furrows brow.. or not. As for running away :), welcome to eve-online, we are Fix aka Firmus Ixion, ask around about us, we're well known for putting our tail between our legs and running for the hills.. /sarcasm off.
49u Reality check: One POS saved, One POS lost. Kill/Death Ratio for us was around 50/50. At the peak of the battle local topped out at around 210, 60 of those were Fix, 130-140 Hostile. The fight goes on and will for a long long time. You've taken an inch in your first mile, prepare for a marathon.
Did I say anything about alliance numbers? If you read what I wrote you would have seen Fleet Engagements.
Anyway its a shame I'm not allowed to link KB links so I'll give you date's instead so you can review them.
1: Wednesday 6th Jun 2007 @ 20:37 in 3-F. You had 4 Carriers with you and you lost 11 ships to our 1.
2: Sunday 24th Jun 2007 @ 05:41 in 49-. again you have cap ships and you lose 10 ships (Inc Carrier) and we lose 3
Shall I go on, eve mail me any proof that FIX has fought IAC and beat us hands down?

Only in EVE is having more warm bodies on your side for a battle considered 'blobbing' and unfair.
In anything else it's just good strategy.
This is an endless source of amusement for me.

Can't seem to view your killboard, IAC. It keeps asking me for a login and a password, so I can't verify these details. Our killboard can't show entire engagements atm, so if you could please provide, not just our numbers, but yours as well. It would make your point a lot clearer.
I do find it interesting that during an ongoing war with nigh daily engagements you have managed to find two where we supposedly outnumbered you, both from last month, while still making the claim that we only fight when outnumbering you.
That is all. Still a load of fun. David won in the end in that epic encounter anyway, so I'm feeling secure enough.

IAC is comical. When they are outnumbered, there's no group in Eve that sits in POS's longer or whines harder. Now that they have a 3-1 edge on FIX with AAA around to do the heavy lifting, they're smacking away right and left. In a straight-up fight, IAC couldn't even beat ISS.
Frankly, after that pathetic showing against Outbreak, IAC should keep quiet for a while, and get a few real victories where they don't have 3-1 numbers.

Where are you getting 3:1 numbers from?? Its insane to think that we always have 3x more numbers in fleets then fix.

IAC did beat ISS, but then ISS brought in the gangbang of all gangbangs. let's see I think IAC was about 1200 members at that point vs Chowdown in titan + a bunch of LV along with all of IAC traditional enemys with all of the MC cap fleet and normal fleet with some BOB. IAC did the only thing they could, ask goons to help :)

What the op posted, is infact true. However he has only posted half of the story.
There were 2 pos's that came out of reinforced yesterday and the op seems to have accidentally forgotten to mention that we repped the first pos almost completely unharmed despite there being more IAC in system than FIX by quite a large margin.
Also, whatever idiot said that FIX almost always outnumber IAC is rather mistaken. For the last 2 weeks we've been engaging IAC quite heavilly outnumbered and often taking more kills than losses because our tactics and organisation have worked to our advantage rather than IAC's.
I believe someone said that we should stop defending our "masters", bob. We're doing **** all for Bob. Bob have a very very limited number of assets in Querious. ALL of our assets are in Querious. We're defending OURSELVES, not Bob. If Bob stay down in Tenerifis we couldn't care less, we know that 1 v 1 against IAC we'd do more damage most of the time, but IAC with AAA is a different story.
People seem to find the falsity of FIX being damaged, quite amusing, as if we can't defend our own space. I find it quite amusing that it seems to be the same people saying that, that said "OMFG WE'RE BEING BLOBBED 24/7" when we kicked out Iron and D2 alongside our allies up north. May I remind you; IT'S THE SAME SCENARIO. IAC/BoS/AAA are attacking us in a blob. I don't think it's bad that they're doing it that way; hardly anyone ever makes a full offensive without allies these days, it's just the way the game is played. But before you start smacking us about not being able to defend ourselves, remember that very often we're outnumbered 3:1 just like those northern alliances were. We're doing an amazing job considering the odds against us. We've only lost 2 deathstars in over 2 weeks in 49-u and taken down 1. Considering the numbers against us, I'd say we're causing IAAAC some trouble.
Anyway, same goes to IAC about fighting. You guys always give us a good fight so respect for that too. Generally it's not you guys making false claims in this thread, it's people that don't even have a clue as to what's going on in 49-u at the moment. So yeah, lets just enjoy the pewpew. We certainly are.
