I like a combined dictatorship approach like the name Triumvirate implies (not sure how their political system actually works), so when one goes on holiday the ball still keeps rolling.

Which is the perfect form of government?
a) Fascism.
b) Communism.
Do you see what I've done there?
I've asked an equally stupid question, for "which is best" but only giving 2 possible answers, both of them are the extremes. Let me show you again.
What's the ideal room temperature?
a) -273 degrees celcius b) 30000 degrees celcius
Of course the answer to all of these questions is somewhere in the middle.

Edited by: Elmicker on 29/07/2007 16:53:48 In my experience, the only way to effectively run a conventional alliance is to have a leader with absolute power (with maybe 1 or 2 very trusted deputies for when he's not about), who is advised by a council formed of CEOs, FCs and the like. Councils running alliances are all well and good in an ideal situation, but time and again, they are proved to be inferior when it comes to times of pressure, or when a snap decision needs to be made.

a dictatorship of 1-3 people with about a dozen people to advise/do the petty stuff. A smaller number of corps large corps also seems to be better than a large number of smaller corps.

You're not getting into an arguin' mood when you are drinking while you have a ****ton of work to do. Seriously, if Molle knew about that kind of labor morale, you'd be in deep trouble. Other alliances have been kicked out for less.

Molle's a Swede... he understands getting drunk all day, even when there's work to do. Working under the influence is inbedded into every citizen of a country north of the 45th parallel's genes.
