I am calling for a nerf of the osprey, use of it from hereon out should be considered an abuse of ingame mechanics. Lets look at the osprey, and see JUST how overpowered it is. First the hardpoints, the osprey has THREE turret hardpoints, the EXACT same number as the Amarr dreadnought, so I think we can safely consider the osprey a dreadnaught from now on. The osprey's capability to fit and sustain three dreadnought sized weapons should be removed from the game, when in siege mode, I am guessing the osprey could reach upwards of forty thousand DPS. Furthermore, the two missile slots allow for a hail of defender missiles that I am 100% sure would render it invulnerable to any weapon, giving it a better tank than the Blackbird and the Ferox combined. Also, the bonuses are totally overpowered, 20% bonus to laser amount per level puts the osprey at a level of dps that outclasses even the mackinaw. It is clear that this, combined with it's superior tank, makes the osprey a totally unbalanced ship. I urge ccp to delete EVE from existance to prevent this ship from ever being used again.

Thats enough! When will people stop whining about THIS ship is overpowered or THAT ship is underpowered? C'mon people adapt and overcome. Every ship has a role and its the pilot that makes it effective in that role! I am so sick of all the threads where people **** themselves about how much their race's ship classes all suck a big one!
Furthermore, all you people should pull your heads out of your...oh wait...the osprey? Yeah I lost my Thanatos to one the other day.!

/Signed! With all that bonus to shield transporter range, how are we supposed to kill anything when one of these are around? For all we know they might be off-grid casually mining some veld and safely repairing my targets... AT THE SAME TIME!!! I plea to CCP... fix the Osprey.

Not sighned - if this gets fixed then my Osprey fleet od DOOOM! will not be as effective in pwning noobs as they join game, blowing up seasoned battlehardened carebears and BoBlets.
To cap it off - I want a hattrick of titan kills.
I managed 2 in my osprey.
If you try and stop this.
Maybe ill set my Osprey on you....

I was cloacked in safe spot, alone in the system and sudenly an osprey fires a Doomsday on me and I'm wtf? then I realised it was the dreaded osprey. nerf it please!

I was at a gate camp today when an osprey jumped in. Of course we had a large bubble up so that made escaping very difficult. Right away 3 of our chimeras burst into flames apparently from the 3 guns on the Osprey. By the time my crow going 7km/s flew out of the bubble, half our gang was gone and I barely made it out alive.
Please nerf this ship, it is the solo-pwnmobile that everyone is using now.

Having read this thread regarding the awesome power of the Osprey I have invested 1.5 billion isk in an Osprey BPO.
That guy in Jita who sold it to me must be kicking himself.

I'm going to let you children in on a little secret that we adults like to use time and time again.
Life is not fair. The game is fine the way it is, stop calling for the nerfing of ships just because you can't pilot them. Geez, get a game card, and take the time to learn skills that will let you survive.
The osprey is a cruiser, it's fast, it's deadly, and in the right hands can destroy a battleship. I should know, I've had it happen to me.
Did I cry? No...I went out and got another ship and left the developers alone.
I pay my subscription x 2, to enjoy a game, not listen to sniveling little brats whine about the big bad ship that destroyed them.
I'll leave you with another piece of sage advice.
"If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen."
To the developers: Build your game the way you want to. If you want to build super ships, go for it. If you want to make it so that one little cruiser can break up gate camps, go for it. I love this game the way it is. Don't nerf a thing...keep it as real as you can.
