I subscribe to the magazine for a laugh every now and again and some information on what games are coming up each month, because I can't be bothered to go look around for myself. The list was compiled by the staff of the magazine I believe. It is hardly surprising that WoW is number one. At the end of the day, the magazine is read by loads of people, not just EVE players, and WoW is a far more popular game, and therefore will get the least amount of complaints for it being number one from their readers. You're not supposed to take everything they say as the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth you know. --- ---

PCGamer has done some amazing articles on eve-online they covered the GHSC heist and a writeup of a player experience of the GNW. but that was a while ago, I lost interest in the magazine as I could read a better review online and download any demo I wished when high speed broadband became cheaper. and they are a bunch of WoW fanboys edit: Freespace 2 will be the be game ever for me You just couldnt beat it for awesome space battles.. Mir Net	Posted - 2007.08.04 06:37:00 - [45] First. All the people hitting on Pc gamer uk staff, wow fans ect, remember one thing, they have been one of eve's biggest supporters over the last 4 years. Second. Opinion polls might not represent your opinion last. While eve's allright and deserving of 25 or higher on concept alone, it's FAR beyond prefection that would see it break the top 10 imho. Massive imbalances still 4 years after release, the game is metagamed to crap and back which will allways hold it back, and it's core concept the massive "fleet" battles and the infrastructure surrounding it is genericaly broken at the moment. 25 isn't so bad when you consider all that is it, just about all the games above eve in that list are perfection in their genres, eve isn't perfection 'yet'.

You know this is the first post of yours I agree with. You might be an isk farmer, but X-Com apoc was the best 'real time' squad game mechanics wise to date.
