Can we please have the main-stream corporations for the various factions stock their LP stores with them as well? Used to get them as random offers from Federation Navy and Federal Intelligence Office, now they don't carry them. Having 350k useless LP is kinda bummin.

Yeah. Those ones are great. But the mainstream corporations (IE, not companies in Gallente Space, but Agents that work directly for the Federation from an RP perspective) are borked. =/
It's suck for combat pilots to have to go to crap Corps... for these. =/
Having 350k LP that you can't cash in for much value, is also suck.

Edited by: Khan Dhu on 04/08/2007 07:28:50 They need to add all the new implants to the market to stabilize the prices, too.
Of course, idiots are devaluing LP by selling +5s too cheaply, making the Nexus chips the better deal. For combat pilots, converting ammo to faction is your best low-LP seller.

No BS. Can we get some CCP feedback? Currently, the only corporations I see that you can get them from. Their level 4 Agents are either A) In low-sec, so not done much, and pirate heavy.
Or B) You have to cross multiple jumps through 0.0 from Gallente space to get to them. So again... bleh.
Are their plans to put Nexus Chips back on mainstream corporations?

Edited by: Khan Dhu on 04/08/2007 08:23:38 Speaking as someone who's run these "impossible L4 low-sec missions," let me say a few things:
1. Hauling missions are dull, boring, and mindless. A good target is "a storyline per day." And of course, if that storyline happens to be a kill mission - turn it down. 2. If you can get a hauler above 6k that can align in about five and a half seconds, you're borderline invincible. The only time you're vulnerable is on undock by bumping - and just ride out the timer if that happens. You want the LP, not the paltry bonus isk. 3. Ignore the wrecks of countless Chinese and Eastern European farmer's shuttles and haulers on the gates - they need to learn to jump faster. 4. If people would only stop devaluing their LP in the zeal to make ANYTHING back of their investment (this is mostly talking about +5s), Nexus chips wouldn't be the "best bang for your Empire buck." 5. Try to "chain" missions - only take ones on or slightly near the route to your furthest destination system.

Check this
When you put in Nexus Chips it first lists all the navy ship offers that require the chip, just flip through the pages till the chips themselves come up.

Edited by: Aslann on 04/08/2007 12:43:43 You can make more money turning your LP into faction ammo, I sold tens of thousands of rounds of ammo for like 2-4k ISK per LP, instead of your 1k ISK/LP ration selling chips to NPCs gives you. ______________________

Why do all that extraneous clicking - just set the min LP as 1 and the max as 8000. Filter out all the ship offers.

Faction ammo is where the ISK is at. It has replaced some of the T2 ammo for many pilots. Even if you buy the base ammo off the market for a moderately high price, instead of making it yourself, you'll still make way more than 1000:1. The only drawback is that it isn't instant money, the way nexus chips are.

U sir have no idea this is intended as an anti lag measure gets u away from the hub systems and spreads the server load, of course u can always get the LP from the mainstream corp and put an item for item exchange for said nexus chip with the equivalent gal navy etc same level offer and most likley someone will do a straight item for item exchange.
If youre to lazy to travel that is

One L4 mission from the corp i run missions from will get you an alpha nexus chip with about 1-2k lp to spare. Its in low sec sure, but working from there for a very long time, ive lost about 1 billion in ships and gained about 6-7 billion in isk.
Fair trade imo

Please don't reply when you actually seem to have no idea of the differences between Caldari and Gallente... :)
Caldari have multiple corporations, in both High/Low Sec with Level 4 agents that give out the Nexus Chips. Gallente have none except across 0.0. And they're manufacturing, not kill. :)

Lies. I have a Gallente Kill agent in lowsec with a corp that sells nexus chips (which is about the only useful thing they sell, the implants are kinda crap in their store but oh well :P).
Its even a qua 20 lvl 4 agent (from what I bookmarked a long time ago its even the highest Qua gallente kill agent there is in lowsec). ______________________

Read the OP. It's specifically stated Low-Sec and 0.0. Hence where the problem is in alignment with the other races.
Thank you, drive through again.

So many people that can't read.
And guess what. All of those agents, are either in Low-Sec, in which systems are pirate hunting grounds galore. Or you must cross to the other side of the galaxy, crossing through multiple 0.0 systems, to get to them.

I wonder who has the reading problem here, those 2 agents are in 0.5 and 0.7 respectively (as pointed out by the post) and no none of them forces you to go thru low sec. The first system is 6 jumps all thru highsec from Oursulaert. The second one is also 6 highsec jumps from oursulaert (but in an other direction). Or if you prefer Renyn as your market hub it's 6 and 5 highsec jumps. ---------------------------------------- A Guide to Scan Probing in Revelations |

I don't think the OP wants to work private security for a mining corporation or chemical factory. When they're cruising at the local space-bar, a job with the military means they can claim to be a mercenary, which sounds much cooler than being a rent-a-cop...

That's the reason I started out working for the Federation Navy.
PS - I hope they don't add Nexus chips to the Federation Navy LP store. Maybe some people will go work for other corporations if they find they cannot make enough easy money working for the Fed Navy. ------------

yeah, a way to make corps special... (RP wise)...
otherwise you might as well scrap the whole Corp based LP store and add in a faction based on... only 4 of them is needed in that case...
(which is borrrrrriiiing...and yeah, will herd people back to the hubs/best agents again. atleast this way, people have to MOVE to work for other corps for specific stuff. )
but yeah, theres tons of corps with those chips, Credon, Dunvole, is the two I do. -Siggi- ""PvP" isn't only direct person to person combat, it can be very indirect. Selling an item on the market which somebody buys from you is resulting in another guy not getting a sale." Oveur |

is ur best bet for these nexus chips.. the agent seems to give alot of best missions over & over.
so more isk per mission with a pretty good LP return to get those nexus chips ;)

Edited by: NetHawk on 07/08/2007 17:06:20 I'm not 100% certain, but I'm about 90% certain you can get them from the production corps, Duvolle, Creodron, and Roden. These are not 'backwards corps' have agents in high sec, and if you want to think about RP think of them as parallels to military defense contractors in the real world. The agents are not that bad but if you don't want to run them then...BUY THE CHIPS! That pretty much covers it.
