Out of curiosity, has any titan been risked in combat (against a foe who could potentially destroy it) by anyone since Molle's titan loss and the titan nerf patch?
lol, you're kidding right? See most of the Titan pilots in the game are actually good pilots who dont get themselves in that situation, or will undergo simple sequence of events.
a) Warp in (hopefully your dictors have fleet bubbled or they jumped into your gate camp of several deployed bubbles.) b) Turn the F AROUND!!!!!! c) make sure you know your warp out point hopefully a guy in line with an object you can align to. DD) well you get it. e) Warp the F out without cloaking! f) once in safe spot cloak or warp to pos.
See most titan pilots of skill or brains can do this and thus not be in any real danger.
Almost forgot! Grats -A-
You missed two steps. Correct order:
a) Warp in (hopefully your dictors have fleet bubbled or they jumped into your gate camp of several deployed bubbles.) b) Turn the F AROUND!!!!!! c) make sure you know your warp out point hopefully a guy in line with an object you can align to. d) DD e) get desynced f) Warp the F out without cloaking! g) once in safe spot cloak or warp to pos h) die when you realize you never actually escaped, you just desynced
This looks like a lame troll regarding the Shrike kill. I think I'll let the person who knows best speak on this subject.

Huh, I wasn't talking about Shrike at all. I was referring to the fact that motherships and titans get desynced extremely often when in the heat of combat, to the point where I suspect they have a hidden bonus in their info "+10000000% to desync per level."

Another wild theory - but just as likely - is that pilots of titans and motherships feel an especially big urge to make up excuses for loosing their ships, when they do loose them.
Edit: And congrats to AAA for the titan, of course.

So all the screenshots and FRAPS showing the aforementioned ships at a gate and at a POS at the same time (taken by multiple different people on both sides) are all faked?

**** does happen in this game and when you factor in what kills motherships (typically large engagements) I'd say desynchs are prone to happening. More so than normal ships. Still congrats to -A- for a well used suprise! titan strike.

I am all for giving credit where credit is deserved, but this is drawing the line. There is a risk of him having a double digit show size or using a non-North American sizing measurement. Keep it real, next time refer to something more respectable like the number of moons orbitting the earth so it will cut down on possible confusion.
As for the titan pilot competency quote, well it is completely agreeable that the current group of titan pilots are all definitely competent and has been since cyvok lost his. The d2 guy was borderline.

Shrike is debatable after the dd-cloak-bump debacle, not to mention the "oops warped the wrong character" shenanagins from a couple nights ago. But honestly, I'd say the collective competency of Titan pilots took a turn for the better once Molle took away Hegemon's keys; that guy was a liability. Friends don't let friends doomsday drunk.
Edit: Night-shift Orange Species has always been a bit of a loose cannon, but I'll give BOB the benefit of the doubt and assume they've found someone more competent to play him that shift.

Your ego maybe gets hurt, but if I had titan wouldnt "turn around" when come out of jump.. I would just have my warpout point at same direction as the warp in,, much faster to align and less chance of gettin cought with ya pants down.. But IŠm a just a KIA noob so I shouldenŠt know this

That is a great idea, however most gates are at the "end" of the systems and thus there are not a lot of things to align to behind the gate. So you are aligning to where you hope he'll be..... hmmm not a bright idea. So good luck with that and when you hit warp, and your ship turns slightly dont panic too much 8)
