As for the OP simply poking with the homophobia stick, well he could be, after listening to one stare of the Goonian address i would say its possible because i cannot honestly see a person who is openly * tolerate the words that are used by his fellow alliance. Despite this however his claim is serious, if he feels the * community is discriminated against in Eve, then he has the right to voice his opinion ragarding this. I myself do not think CCP are in the wrong, the words they have blanked out are used as insults to other players and so should be blanked because using * rather than Moron is insulting not the player but a specific player base in Eve, the fact a player is * should never be used as a insult, but you cannot control everything that's said. The swear filter was probably the last straw for Hollismason and he's angry for other reasons. I think it would be beneficial to discuss those reasons and fight social stigmas but unfortunately it'll get blanketed under political and be removed from the forums. There are people that play eve who are tired of discrimination as much as those that are discriminated against, perhaps these people can find each other in game somehow and blow the crap out of stuff.
