Edited by: Mantalari Altis on 14/08/2007 13:15:40 I'd be glad to test the Linux client and I have multiple machines with multiple installs of Linux with which to test. I will also be glad to test the Mac client if it runs on non-Intel macs (fat binary, anyone?) though I expect that it probably does not.
I've been using Linux since before the the 1.0 kernel release, and MacOS since System 6. I work as a Linux (among other things) systems administrator and have about 15 years of experience in the information technology field, a good bit of it supporting development and testing organizations.

Quote: We are looking for some volunteers to help us with the testing of the new Mac and Linux Clients.
If it is a Linux client, I'll participate. If it is a next-gen Cedega/wine/crossower emulation - I pass. -- Thanks CCP for cu<end of sig> |

I'd like to sign up for the linux client.
I already subscribe to Cedega and have experience running eve in linux. I also am a Comp. E. with extensive programing knowledge.. though I don't think that helps here... but will at least help me debug anything you might need on a user side :)

to add: 1.5 years using Linux as my only OS, Cedega user !

Hi!
I currently run EVE on my Macbook using Crossover successfully (albeit without sound). Additionally, I use Ubuntu on my primary desktop at home. I would love the ability to assist in testing new EVE clients for my preferred operating systems, giving me an excuse to abandon windows entirely.
