I would also love to help test mac clients. I currently play Eve through Crossover (on a Mini and iMac) and my new MacBook Pro will be ordered soon.
I also have access to a Ubuntu box at work.

Originally by: CCP Lingorm Edited by: CCP Lingorm on 08/08/2007 16:25:01 Just a clarification on the 'paying extra' for EVE on Cedega.
You will pay the same price for EVE on Linux/Mac as you pay for EVE on Windows. Same Monthly subscription fees. The Cedega/Cider builds that back the EVE release will be locked to those products.
Repeat. You will only be paying the same monthly fee for EVE on the new platforms. No extra fees will be charged for running on these platform.

I'd like to volunteer to test the Linux version, both in Linux (different distributions) and under Linux emulation in FreeBSD.

Interested in being involved in testing the Mac client. Been playing Eve for a couple of years and presently running through Crossover on a Mac Mini. Been involved in small-scale business software development, so have some relevant experience.

I have seen how lousy the windows client runs in cedega or wine, so i would love to test the new linux native release. I have a friend that would like to help out aswell, but seeing as he is on vacation, i can wouch for him aswell. He only uses linux machines, and half of my machines here at home use linux, andi would like it to be more :) I work as a datatechnician daily, so i might be of some help in the testing :)

I'm in. EVE is one of the few games i play here. And btw i launched it on win platform only 1-2 times just for test, so i've been playing eve since beginning on this OS (Debian GNU/Linux Testing). And had a lot of debugging/basic programming experience (~2 years in miranda community, then on a few linux pieces of SW). ------------- Alternative idea to NOS |

I'd love to help as well. I own a 17" Intel iMac (not the newest ones) and a second-generation MacBook Pro (not the newest one either then). I work as a sysadmin and am quite computer-knowledgeable in my opinion.

I run dual boot Windows XP and openSuSE and the only time I switch to XP is just to play EVE. I'm a web programmer, so I have an understanding of basic code, (though nothing on the EVE level.)
I'd love to test! (It sounds dreamy)

I'd love to test out an OS X client. I just got a shiny new iMac, and would love to ditch rebooting into Windows or hoping that CrossOver works this time.
I've been using OS X since 2001 (and the classic MacOS since 90-something) and have a pretty good understanding of its unix underpinnings.
