If you'd been playing enough the first time around to get a BC, you'd have known that EVE is a NON-CONSENSUAL PVP GAME, and that flying into low sec / 0.0 is to be looking for PvP. It's not the games fault that you went in to what is essentially a PvP zone in a ship you can't afford to lose. That'd be your fault... --------

Or that: "You might die." About having only 2k isk, is a lie, as the prophecy pays around 11 mil in insurance even without insurance. This is not a brag, but it took me two years to lose one single ship. Why? I read the tutorial, the manual, the warnings THAT POP UP ON YOUR SCREEN and thought "Hmm, maybe this warning means...i might get killed. LEt's not go there yet." To this day, i've lost two ships to npc, maybe three/four ships to pirates, and those were situations where i knew a 100% i might. This game is safer then any other MMO out there, if you use a bit of gray matter in your adventures. So yeah, i have a problem with being serious, but it's the almost smallest problem i have.

That's what they get for all the time that they kept with EVE while some other peeps left and became uber with some other games or whatever. It is only fair. If you had no idea what you were doing, why did you enter a dangerous zone in a nice ship that you had no money to replace? EVE like any game has certain rules by which you should try to play. You learn about these rules by doing the tutorial, asking questions in help channel, and reading this forum. Entering low security space you get a warning message pop up right in front of you. If you get a waring message popping up saying "Please don't step on the rake. Stepping on the rake will hurt. And you sure you want to step on the rake?" and you click OK and immediately get hit on the head by the rake, well it is not the cruel, heartless rake to blame for it now is it.

In which case scientific research shows these men are more likely to be unfaithful and poor companions, and that might explain why there are fewer female players.

Anyway...my advice to you is to learn from your mistake Never fly autopilot in 0.0 or anything lower than 0.5. Always watch local while traviling in low-sec. Never trust anyone other than your corp m8's as you said...there are alot of scummy folk out there. I hope this experiance aint put you off the game....i know this behaviour is sending alot of other people back to games like Wow (iv never played it myself)....but as i said...try and learn from your mistake m8.
